I’ll start by saying that the other reviewer either works for/with/is a family member of this place or has a serious crush on the receptionist. I’ll accept that — the receptionist was the only positive thing about this dentist. She actually had to come back and SHOWTHEHYGIENISTS how to use the X-ray machine. This was one of the worst experiences of my life. I usually go to Doering Dental, but needed an emergency appointment. I tried to be understanding at first, as they’re clearly a relatively new operation, but I lost my patience fairly quickly. The hygienist cut me in three places as she was doing the X-ray, and literally had to do them four times. None of the hygienists knew how to use the computer, or the machines, and even the doctor struggled to pull up the X-rays on the computer. If you are going to get a new system, TRAIN before you use it on people!!! The doctor said«you went for a checkup a year ago and they told you everything was fine?» I said no, they told me I had cavities. He said«oh, good, I didn’t want to be the one to have to tell you.» …I incredulously asked«why not, isn’t that your job???» He seemed offended by the question. I was trying to get out of there as soon as possible, when the hygienist pretty much implied that if I don’t do the $ 942 deep cleaning they suggested now, I’ll probably end up loosing my teeth. That I already needed a root canal and a crown(which I also did not believe, because even though he was tapping harder on my teeth than any dentist ever has, I felt no pain). They had no bedside manner, didn’t even put the chair back up at the end so I struggled to get out of it. I am thoroughly disgusted and did not even care that I did not get the service I paid for. I will go back to Doering Dental, the BEST dentist in the Tampa area, even though I will have to travel farther and pay more. No amount of time or money is worth going through the atrocity that is H2H again.
