Impressions Decorative Concrete

Great! Corby, the owner, is one of the most genuine, down-​to-​earth guys you’ll ever meet — wish there were more contractors like him. The stamped concrete patio we got is great and was completed on time and on budget. Impressions is competitively priced and you get a great product. My only recommended improvement would to be more willing to give customers alternative designs. I had an idea of what I wanted and that’s almost exactly what I got — with 30 years experience, I’m sure there could have been a way to make it better.

We had this company do a large concrete patio in our yard which they acid stained. We were relatively happy with the final outcome though it did not meet my expectations. They had convinced me that my expectations were unreasonable. At the time, I accepted that and it looked nice despite the fact that it wasn’t exactly what I was looking for. It’s been a few years now and there seems to be excessive cracking of the concrete and all the acid stained capping that was done. I realize that concrete cracks but I felt this was excessive. The capping has developed several air pockets and subsequently cracked and flaked away. After leaving a few messages and several emails, Kim finally returned my call and scheduled an appointment for her husband, Corb, to come diagnose and potentially fix the problem. After planning around our appointment today, neither Kim nor Corb showed up. They did not call either even after I called an hour after our scheduled time to find out what happened. I have still not heard from them at the time I’m writing this. I seem to recall when they were doing the work originally, it was difficult to communicate with them and there always seemed to be an excuse. I’ve become very frustrated with them and I suppose I’ll have to take my business elsewhere.
