Valoptical owner-​optician Dominic Fornaro runs the best small business I have encountered in 25 years on Long Island! He is super friendly and so patient with kids and seniors. If you’re unsure what you want, Dom listens carefully and enjoys walking through the possibilities to find which frames are best for you.

Located down the road from Cross Island Fruits, the owner, Dominick is an old family friend. We have been coming here for years, in fact my sister even worked here on the weekends. Dominick is friendly, smart and very helpful. He is also very up to date with new glasses /​frames and will order whatever you’d like! If you need an eye exam, make a Tuesday appt when the eye doctor is in.
