This placed intrigued me as I drove by so I decided to stop for a quick bite. It was close to empty and the digs were nothing to write home about… but it was clean. I ordered the Delhi Chicken salad wrap and honestly it was one of the best sandwich wraps I have ever had. I got a regular sized meal and I am glad I did because the joy of experiencing that flavor again was great. Fresh. Clean and understated… this place deserves your business.

With over 57 fresh, healthy, nutritious roll-up sandwiches, you can’t ask for much more in a sandwich shop. Just $ 3.95 for a half sandwich(enough for many people) and $ 6.25 for a whole(more than enough for most), along with great homemade soups and salads, means that Roly Poly has a little something for everyone from the classic #74 Tuna Club with fresh Tuna Salad, Provolone, Bacon, Lettuce, Tomato, Scallion, Dill Mayo, Country Dijon Mustard, & Whole Wheat Tortilla to my personal favorite #30 Basil Cashew Chicken with fresh basil chicken salad, cashews, spicy Thai sauce, avocado, green leaf lettuce, plum tomatoes & alfalfa sprouts. Get a hot-pressed #18 Philly Melt or get a cold-pressed #55 Pesto Chicken. Veggie lovers will find at least eight sandwiches for them and, after all, who doesn’t like a California Hummer with Roasted Red Pepper Hummus, Provolone Cheese, Lettuce, Tomato, Avocado, Carrot, Cucumber, Green Pepper, Sprouts & Creamy Caesar Dressing? I’m jus sayin’ if you haven’t been yet, you are definitely missing out! :-)

Me: I’d like a chicken sandwich. What kind of bread do you have? Server: We don’t have bread. Me: I thought you’re a «Purveyor of Fine Sandwiches.» Server: Uh, we’re a sandwich roll place. You know — like wraps. Me: Uh… Server: Hence, the ROLY in Roly Poly. Me: OH! I wasn’t a huge fan of the wraps thing. Gimme my carby bread! The $ 7 whole($ 4 half) #91 Cajun Chicken Melt was pretty dinky because of the tortilla wrapper. The filling itself was pretty underwhelming — just chicken, bacon, and spinach. The watery spicy cajun mayo kept dripping out the bottom, so watch out! Sadly, mine was neither fine or a sandwich. Maybe I should have stuck to eating roly polies outside in the dirt.
