Michael is a great person and always is very consistent. They have great prices, awesome color selection, and every time treat me the way I want to be treated. I recommend my friends and family all the time. They are also very quick and efficient and never keep me waiting.

They were in a huge rush and I felt like the woman doing my nails totally rushed through them not caring for quality at all. She left a gap between the gel polish and my cuticle on half of my nails, which in my opinion is a sign of a poor manicure. It looks like I got this polish done 2 weeks ago when really it was just 2 days ago. I don’t know how the manicurist would think that’s appropriate… I do not recommend this place.

I have been going to Modern Nails for several months. The prices are a bit higher than other salons but the quality is FAR superior. I wouldn’t trust anyone but Mary to do my nails from here on. She is so sweet and kind. Their deluxe pedicure is heavenly and all the gals do a great job. It’s an extremely clean salon and they even spend the extra cost to have liners in the pedicure tubs. If you get hot wax they don’t dunk your feet in the same tub everyone uses, it’s individually applied. The polish selection is vast and they do great designs. But most importantly… I had my nails done and took my wedding rings off to put lotion on. I stupidly left my rings on the counter. Two days later when I realized what I’d done and where I left them I called expecting my rings to be long gone by another customer and Mary had saved them. She was so thrilled to hear from me and be able to return my precious wedding set. These are good people and a great service. My only wish is that they took appointments because clearly everyone loves them as much as I do and it can be a wait.

I had a wonderful experience here! The owners are friendly, very professional, and meticulous. I had a basic pedicure and needed to leave quickly and messed up the polish job putting my shoes on. Michael, the owner, asked me to come back and get it fixed when I had time for no extra charge. I came back the next day and he went above and beyond to fix it and make sure each toenail looked perfect. I also got my eyebrows waxed and they look great and it was very painless. Great experience! I will be back.

Just moved to Lynden and was happy to find that this brand new salon opened a couple weeks ago. Great customer service. Prices are a bit high, but considering there aren’t many options in this small town, I guess it’s worth it. Very clean. More than likely will be returning.
