AT&T

Bad experience, the store manager needs to be replaced! I needed to replace my new iPhone that I purchased from AT&T because they sent me a defective unit. After bouncing back and force by various AT&T customer reps on the phone and on-​line chat, they finally told me to go to the AT&T store so they would replace my iphone. After arriving to the completely empty store at Legacy Village (4 sales reps, no customers) the sales rep told me that I had to go to the Apple store and they supposed to replace my phone — and this is after I was advised by several ATT reps to go to the ATT store!!! I did not accept this answer — WHAT A HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Then, the sales rep called the store manager who started to treat me like I was a hostile customer, threatened to throw me out of the store instead of helping me! This is extremely disappointing, this arrogant guy acted like he was an almighty GOD and ATT does not take responsibility for the phone I bought from them! This proves that ATT is the WORST company with the WORST customer service and untrained personnel. The in-​store sales reps unable to deal with the customers, the managers are not trained at all! If it was my company, I would fire this manager from Legacy Village location due to his nasty attitude towards the customers and unwillingness to help. Shame on you ATT!!!

My wife and I are senior citizens. We went to this store which is near our home. We knew virtually nothing about «smart phones.» While the sales person seemed to understand our ignorance, she sold us things we don’t need and will never use. It happens that we left town two days later, not understanding that any unwanted items had to be returned within 14 days. Also, we were not given any paper work re our purchases. When we returned after one month, the manager would not even come out from the back to speak to us. NEVER GO TO THIS STORE. When our contract is up, we will leave AT&T. The staff at this store does not understand customer service.

This might be more for at&t in general, and their system than the people, who working there that are fine. But this store is understaffed. 3 out of 4 times I visited, it took 45+ min to get anybody helping me. 2 out of those three, were just for buying a case and trying to return it 2 weeks and 2 days later. I say that exact amount because, not only did the case I bought there not last that time, the period of eligible time to return the product didn’t either… you’re better off buying 2 cups and a great deal of string than using at&t, and it’d be cheaper and more efficient… plus you could drink out of your phone…

AT&T is a recent addition to Legacy Village, occupying the former residence of the NordicTrack store. An impulse decision brought me here yesterday and I’m glad that I did.
You see, for a while now, I’ve only had the cell phone I was given for work. It’s a dated Blackberry Curve with an unstable operating system. Every two days I’m removing the battery to reboot it after it freezes. Aggravation at an all-​time high and me recently getting reprimanded at work for going over the alloted text messages persuaded me to look into a personal celly of my own.
First off, a little background: I’m a Mac guy. In the land of annoying tech-​nerds, Steve Jobs is way cooler, creative and his products more appealing than anything Bill Gates’ empire has invented in the last 15 or so years. I’ve long had a crush on Mac products. I own a Macbook & a Nano. I’m familiar with their superiority over the competition.
The next progression was clearly the iPhone. To me, in the land of smartphones, no other phone comes close. In the world of electronics, everyone seems to have a gripe. It’s nearly impossible to please everyone no matter what product/​service you represent. With that said, have you EVER heard an iPhone owner NOT like their iPhone? I haven’t. A friend of mine has a joke. She tell’s me, «there are people who don’t like the iPhone. You know what I call them? Verizon owners.» Touché!
So anyways, this past weekend, extending thru yesterday (Oct. 11^th), this store was celebrating it’s grand opening. A special promotion was being offered: $ 200 off any new smartphone plus free activation ($ 36 value). The cost of the phone was paid for up-​front, although I was told $ 200 + activation would be credited on my first or second bill. Good enough for me! I proceeded to get the 16GB 4G iPhone… essentially for FREE! I was also told that this promo would drop to $ 100 plus free activation starting today (Oct. 12^th). Needless to say, my timing was impeccable!
What followed next was an approximate 10 minute activation and registration process. By the time I walked out of the store, my phone was ready to use. Quick and painless to say the least.
As for the iPhone, it’s everything I ever imagined it’d be, although I’m still learning everything it has to offer, which seems to be nearly limitless.
