When you are an older bride who has a few extra lbs attention to detail is a mandatory requirement. My consultant; Megan Klein was nothing short of amazing ! She listens to your wants and helps you find a dress that meets your need as well as fitting your budget. Her personality is as professional as you get. It was a sincere pleasure working with her. I hope they value her as an employee!

Great team over there. Bought my dress there and had my alterations done. Needed a quick turnaround, as my date was canceled, and then resumed(I know crazy!) The alterations team was AWESOME. I needed a lot of work done to the dress, and they were extremely patient. My dress(for Vegas) looked wonderful. Jackie and Mary Jane who also worked with me were so very nice. Highly recommend.

I called on a Monday evening for an evening appointment ASAP. They got me the following evening without a problem. I was greeted friendly as soon as I walked through the doors. I dropped the bombshell that I have never shopped for dresses and my wedding was just shy of 2 weeks away. They assured me that this would not be an issue and that we should be able to find a dress. My consultant was Heather and she was amazing! She was knowledgeable, friendly, and was able to pick up on what I was looking for. She helped me find«my dress»! I realized it was getting late but they did not rush me and the alteration lady even stayed late so I didn’t have to return the following day. They were kind and considerate and will have my dress ready and altered even though my wedding is extremely soon! Way to go David’s Bridal! You took a lot of stress off of me!!!

David’s Bridal is a strange place. I had scheduled an appointment to check out some dresses, but ended up getting passed around to some ill prepared sales associates, and even ended up getting some phone calls in the coming weeks about scheduling my appointment that I had already had… Alas, I am an extreme planner – some might say control freak… – so this little flub was fine and I started scanning racks and digging into the dress search. This was a great change of pace after my horrible experience at The Perfect Bride( ) and I ended up finding my dress here. This wasn’t until I got pushed to try certain things a little too much and was starting to get frustrated by the sales associate, but she was just doing her job and trying to get me in something more expensive, I’m sure. The fittings went incredibly smoothly, with less chaos and everyone was really helpful with suggestions and accommodations to my needs. I don’t know that I’d ever urge someone to go to David’s Bridal in particular, but that’s because I see weddings as something that the brides need to figure out for themselves and especially with dresses, there’s no better way to find one than to try the places you’re drawn to without pressure. I will, however, say that my experience was easy(perhaps because I’m pretty easy going and focused) and I’ll never forget finding my dress.

I in on 3÷2÷14 at David’s Bridal #27, 5445 Mayfield Road, Lyndhurst, OH, and had the most wonderful the woman helping us. Her name was Heather B and we had such a wonderful experience because of her. We were looking for junior bridesmaid dresses, flower girl dresses, mother-of-the bride dresses, jewelry, and more, and Heather made it so easy. She was also so kind and patient with my young nieces. Honestly, I was a bit worried when I saw the other review, but I truly had a great experience and would definitely recommend the store to others. I had absolutely no problems and I was ordering quite a number of items that were a bit complicated. I just wanted to give her and store kudos! *We also made an appointment ahead of time, which I strongly recommend others doing.

WHERE. TO. BEGIN. To quote another review, «WORSTSERVICEEVER.» I accompanied my friend, N to this store along with another friend/bridesmaid while she tried on bridal gowns. As a bridesmaid in her upcoming wedding and someone who is helping her talk out details about her wedding, I know a lot about her ideal style and what she was looking for while trying on dresses. Our trio should have known it was going to be a rough ride when we saw the unorganized chaos of the dress racks and how the consultants didn’t seem to know who they were helping or which dresses belonged to which person. N’s assigned consultant helped her try on her first dress, which fit awkwardly due to a easily fixed mis-sized under garment, but then he immediately left to «go to the bathroom.» Our bride was left standing there for a handful of minutes while we watched the consultant shoot the breeze with some coworkers after he came back from his bathroom break. Every time N was ready to try on a new dress, she had to wait for several minutes for him to remember what he was supposed to be doing. As N was standing in one of the dresses, her consultant came over and, without asking, put a long, flowing white veil on her head. I tried to stop him, saying, «She doesn’t want a veil.» And he promptly replied, «Maybe YOU don’t want a veil, but this isn’t about you, it’s about her.» ! Here’s the thing – my friend is 100% sure she does not want a long veil, but rather a birdcage/lace veil in front. I wasn’t talking about myself in the least. He said, «I needed to give her the full effect.» What part of «She doesn’t want a veil» did he not understand?! The bride spoke up after me in agreement and the consultant took the long veil off her, but rolled his eyes at me as he was doing so! At another point he was taking so long to retrieve the next dress off the rack that the other person with us grabbed it and held it up to signal that we were ready to move on. Then the dirty looks really began. At one point N asked the consultant if he could bring over a short-sleeved lace shrug sort of thing so she could put it on top of another dress to get a visual of what that might look like. He brought a long sleeved shrug that was much too big and said that was the only garment the store had; no other shrugs at all. I replied that I had seen a short sleeved one in the front of the store. He disagreed. So, when he walked away, I grabbed it from the mannequin. As the other bridesmaid and I were walking back with it, we got stopped by the store manager, who reprimanded us like an elementary school principal, for taking it off the mannequin. Fair enough – I had also found about a dozen short-sleeved lace shrugs near where we had stopped. Our consultant heard our discussion with the manager and came over. We pointed out the shrugs that he claimed the store didn’t have, and he retorted, «(the bride) told me she wants heavy beading, and these don’t have any beading, so I didn’t think she would like them.» Ummmm… our friend actually dislikes heavy beading and avoids it. She later confirmed she didn’t say that. Either the consultant made that up in front of the manager or had this bride confused with another. Anyhow, the manager caught the tension that was between us and the consultant and asked why we were taking things off the manequins, etc. That’s when the blow-up started. The other bridesmaid assertively said something like, «If the service was better, we wouldn’t have to try to help her ourselves. We have been waiting most of the time we’ve been here(etc)» I added that the consultant claimed the store didn’t have any shrugs and there were actually quite a few, with evidence next to us. We were both simply stating that we weren’t feeling valued as customers. The manager didn’t apologize, but instead got extremely defensive, telling us that if we wanted better service we should come M-F during the day, when it is «completely dead» as opposed to a busy Saturday. We later heard that the consultant went into the fitting room with our bride after that discussion and tried to gossip about how we were«being very snippy» and«making a scene.» What was she supposed to say? We didn’t want to put her in an awkward position, but I’ve never had anyone make so many terrible faces at me while doing their job.(I’m actually a very nice person. I’m from Minnesota!) The tension between myself, the other bridesmaid, and the consultant continued and when he had enough he rudely passed his duties onto the manager. She was better but still not that helpful – wasn’t listening to what N wanted, and also took an unnecessarily long time to return with dresses. I just need to stress further that the original consultant shot dirty looks toward the other bridesmaid and myself, quite obviously, every time he was in our vicinity. If you read this entire review, congratulations. Don’t go to this David’s Bridal!

WORSTSERVICEEVER!!! The staff acted like we weren’t worth their time. We had 4 girls who were looking for bridesmaids dress and no one was around to get us a fitting room, ANDTHESTOREWASEMPTY. I expect this type of service on a busy saturday afternoon, but they had maybe one other bride there. The consultant who finally helped us ordered the wrong dress. I got a phone call a month later stating they made a mistake and they didn’t have the size I needed. They had to order me a dress 3 sizes too big so I could have the same dress as the other girls!!! They offered to comp my alterations, but I live out of town so there was no way I could use them(which I wouldn’t even if I lived near by). So I’m stuck paying for their mistake. When we ordered our dresses, they were running a free shipping special. When the right dress finally came in, they sent me an email stating I needed to pick my dress up in 2 weeks because they do not hold orders. When I called the store to explain to them that I had asked to have it shipped and that I live too far to pick it up, the manager took my information and said she’ll take care of it. I still don’t have my dress and I keep getting emails saying that they will only hold the dress for so much longer. When I called for a second time, someone took my name and number and I haven’t heard back from them. David’s bridal doesn’t take responsibility for their actions and I plan on contacting my credit card company to final have them dispute the charges and get my money back. Don’t go to this store.
