We stopped into Marty Gras one evening for a drink and a bite to eat. The bar was not crowded; maybe 15 people in the place. We sat at one of the high top tables and waited… and waited… and waited. No one acknowledged us, or approached us to take an order. After 15 minutes of waiting we left. Actually they did us a favor because we went down Schuyler Avenue to another place we had never been to; La Venere Ristorante Pizzeria, and had an amazing meal!

The food is really good and great employees. The wings were perfect and the fries were on point. I will definitely be coming back here since moving to lyndhurst a week ago and I’ve found the SPOT for Sunday football.

Had their mussels a few weeks ago on Friday night — So many (30 – 36?) for $ 10 and came with some good Italian bread. Tasted fresh and the sauce was good.

Have been to Martys many times and decided to finally write a review. I really like martys, the food is good and the beer is nice and cold and fresh, Me and the GF went for lunch because it was close, went on a weds afternoon and there wasn’t to many people there, we both had bacon cheesburgers and wow were they delicious, nice and juicy and cooked just right. The place is very cool, lots of tvs and music playing, the staff and the owner Marty are very good people, will be back many more times, really want to get there for the Mussels on Fridays, I highly recommend the food there.
Went to Martys today to try the Mussels, wow they were delicious. the food here is great and you cant go wrong;

Friday is mussel night at mardi gras and they’re awesome! I ordered hot, and I got 15 mussels for like 8 bucks. And the hot was so hot it was bleeping hot. Lit me up right! A lot of places are afraid to light up the customer, but not here! I sent my highest compliments to the chef. He puts a lot of heart into what he does, and it shows.
