Fun, fun, fun, on a Saturday night. The old time car show is really fun for the whole family. Beer, hot dogs, and food inside with a full bar. Get some fries extra well and a beer walk the rows of historical cars and hot rods. Listen to the music of the 50’s and enjoy the show. Bug spray is recommended it is the jersey swamp. Bring your own old car and park in the show its open to everyone. Motet cycle too.

Been to Whiskey Café a few times and have always been impressed. The food is absolutely delicious. I highly recommend the Jack Daniels sliced steak. The mixed drinks are always made perfectly and they have a great selection of beer. The entire staff is extremely friendly and always attentive. They truly go above and beyond for their customers. What I love most is the fact that they always have something going on, live music, paint night, car shows, ect. They also have a pool table. Whiskey is an all around great place that truly values their customers.

Thursday nights is salsa night. $ 5 admission cost to have the time of your life and feel like Baby from Dirty Dancing. So this isn’t your typical Latin lounge/club where people are harassing you and making you feel uncomfortable. This is where the real dancers go, the ones that go to dance studios during the week and practice their moves during off hours. Yes the first time you go you may feel intimidated but don’t be. The dancers are so nice and are willing to teach you. Even going to watch the dancers show off their moves is entertaining and quite exhilarating I must say. Oh and you’re dead wrong of you think only Latinos go here, the crowd is diverse. I may not be a pro but when I go here and dance with a man that can lead, I feel like the queen of the dance floor! Yes majority of the night is salsa but they mix in bachata and a little merengue too. There’s plentiful parking too so not to worry of that.

Honestly, with a name like«Whiskey Café», I had high hopes. They had a very small whiskey selection(the waitress didn’t even know what they were), the food was not impressive at all, and they only offer bottled beers(more than half they were out of). The person that left the comment about the guy from Bar Rescue couldn’t have been more dead on! This place needs an upgrade ASAP! The only thing good about this place was that they offered«Paint Nite» where an artist comes in & helps you paint & you can drink while doing so(this was soooo much fun!) I wouldn’t go back again though.

Quite possibly one of the worst nightlife experiences anyone could have. They have a bunch of tables with picnic cloths on them scattered throughout the place in the back all the way up to the stage area that don’t get cleaned throughout the night. Plastic plates and cutlery scattered throughout. Went on a friday, the place was dead from 11pm through 1am when i left. Whoever thought this was a good idea needs to reevaluate their life choices.

Old and dated. If you’re under 60, stay the hell away. What a dump. Didn’t try the food because the senior citizen line dancing started. Since Frank the manager contacted me and was interested in making improvements so that I would have a better visit, I am adding a second star just for that effort.

Jon Taffer where you at!!! Went here about a month ago to see a band perform there and was not impressed with this place what so ever. It’s a dump. This place is highly out dated and does not have the best crowd of people here(very old).it was also pretty dead for a Friday night. The bar was also dirty and sticky. A jack and coke is too much money especially for the size they give you, to top if off it was mainly coke. This is suppose to be a dive bar, where you can save money when going out for a few drinks, however, this place obviously didn’t get the message. Bartenders could be much more attentive, they were talking to other people most of time time instead of serving their customers. They were also very rude, they acted like I was annoying them for asking them for a drink. There are only three pros about this place… Beer prices are very cheap and affordable so if you wind up going here drink beer. There is plenty of parking space and had a great floor to watch your band on. I would have given it two stars if they at least had nice employees here however this place couldn’t even do that. It’s sad because this bar looks like I can have potential if they change it up a bit, start making better drinks and hire younger and nicer bartenders. Judging by the other reviews I would not suggest going here for food either. I mean if they can’t keep a bar clean I would not want to know what their kitchen looks like. If your going out to a bar for the night i suggest finding another bar because this one is not worth it.

I used to have an office in this building, and the Whiskey Café is absolutely disgusting. The place is a dive, everything’s dirty, the utensils are rarely cleaned, and I’ve had a few meals that left me very queasy. The final straw was when I was putting ketchup on a burger, and realized that the ketchup bottle was filled with onions and other scraps. It looked like someone was scraping ketchup off of plates and putting it back into the bottle. Absolutely gross, avoid.

The Good: — Super cheap happy hour. Bucket of beers for $ 13. — Leaving The bad: — Décor: Old and dated(not cool vintage old either) — The crowd: Pretty dead Friday night and the people that were that were not my cup of tea. — Bartenders: Rude and slightly scary Summary: If your objective is cheap drinks go here but I would recommend staying home and buying them yourself. If you’re going out for the experience go anywhere else, ANYWHERE!

Rude crowd, sticky floor, dirty bathroom where you can see easily into the men’s room and very clearly to the urinals, and high priced drinks. Way too loud for my liking, and it was pretty slow that night. I’ve never met a bar I didn’t like… till now.

GREATFRIDAYAFTERWORKSPOT, My co-workers went after work and we were allll amazed at how cheap it was for the drinks! $ 5ANYMIXED drinks! a bucket of 6 beers for $ 12 bucks! and they have 5 mojitos, cosmos after 9 as well! great spot!!! absolutely loved it!.. I wouldnt go here EVERY friday as I see it getting cheesy afer awhile but if you want to spend little money and get a nice buzz come here… I would call this a good Pre-Gaming spot for a Friday night if you have plans for later on in the evening.

I’ve unfortunately been victim to the Friday Night Happy Hour. My friends and I come here at least once a month. The previous posts are correct– the drinks are dirt cheap. There’s a DJ and he’s decent; he’s basically the same guy who DJed your high school dances and now he does this after his 9 – 5 «real world» job. They do have free food, but I’ve never tried it. According to my friend, though, it’s not awful. I mean, if it’s free, why not? The crowd is your stereotypical Jersey crowd. If the«Jersey Shore» crowd was A– From New Jersey and B– Had jobs like the rest of us and never appeared on the show, they would probably be here for happy hour. I guess the main reason I don’t like this place is because it’s kinda cheesy, and only creepy men hit on me. So, yeah, you’ll probably find me here again on a Friday night real soon.

I go there for the car shows on Saturdays, and decided after many years to give it a shot. Had a burger and it was pretty good, and cooked correctly. Nothing to brag about, but good enough. I used to go there in the past on Fridays, but that seems to have died off.

Went here for a friend’s birthday on a Saturday night. It’s hidden away in an office park close to Medieval Times, but was surprisingly busy. Perhaps it was the 50’s doowop band playing that brought out a bunch of silverhairs. Maybe because it was so busy that our service was so inattentive, but it seemed they had enough staff to go around. Water was forgotten, and when she did finally come around, she neglected to ask everyone at the table if they wanted anything. Didn’t eat anything, but the menu was composed mostly of your standard apps, salads, chicken, pasta and burger pub fare. Nothing on the menu seemed exciting to me. However, the fries at the next table smelled good. Bottles of Bass were $ 6, and the waitress admitted the $ 9 «large» gin and tonic(in a pint glass) contained a *lot* of tonic.

As far as happy hours go, this place is one of the best I have been to. Expect to wait on line if you get there a little later than 5pm on a Friday(at least during the fall). There is plenty of parking as well. The crowd is professional and good looking for the most part. You do see an occasional meat-head or guidette but otherwise it’s a relaxing crowd. They have great beer and drink specials until 7 or 8pm. Once it gets later in the evening, the crowd starts to change. More wanna be MH/Gui and less professional. They do provide a free hot buffet with limited items. I did try a few while there and they were your average bar variety and taste(pizza, wings .etc). We left relatively early each time we went(9−10PM) since we had been there since after 4. I am sure it gets really packed later in the evening. Just be prepared to do some great people watching(which I love) as I noticed the type of crowd who was entering when we left. There was a constant line outside. One time I waited over an hour to get in… but in the end it was worth it.

A. If you ever want to find out where suburban Jer-Z folk go on the 1st and 15th of the month after hitting the ATM, then get on line for this dump B. The specials are special, i.e., dirt cheap stiff drinks and free food at happy hour C. The crowd at hh is composed of normal-ish working stiffs from the businesses in the area D. The crowd after 8pm looked like Heidi, Lauren, Lo, Kristin, Audrina, Brody and Spencer and others that live by the GTL(Gym Tanning Laundry) code E. The food was forgettable, the crowd was laughable, the DJ was awful but the experience was priceless I will not hit again(conflicts with the 4 stars… I know)
