We were staying in the dells and saw there was a place not too far away and it had 5stars. each year story is similar, a nice little diamond in the rough. I’m calling shenanigans because not only were the burgers frozen then burnt hockey pucks but the rest was average dive bar fried food at best.
We went on a Saturday night and they didn’t offer any of the dinners which should have been my sign to get out before committing to order food. The temperature in the bar was around 60 degrees. I dragged my wife kids and dad here based on the ratings. Consider this your warning. Don’t waste your time, or your money. Only stars I gave was because the bartender/​server was nice.

My boyfriend and I stopped in while we were on the road and were absolutely delighted by the food and service. The apple burger and the chicken and dumplings were very flavorful and the bartender/​waitress was super friendly. If we are ever in the neighborhood again we will definitely stop in!

Heading home to Madison we stumbled upon Swagger Inn and could not have been more pleased! The Jacked up Burger was awesome and super flavorful. I opted for the BLT and I must say it was one of the best I’ve ever had. I chose to hold the onions since I wasn’t convinced it was a needed addition. On the other hand the chipotle mayo was perfect! Next time we are passing through Lyndon Station we will stop in for an amazing homemade meal!
