Key West Sandwich Shop

Stopped in again with the idea that I would be eating their breakfast sandwich, which by the way is incredible, when I noticed they now offer a breakfast bowl. I decide to give it a try and was not disappointed. I added a little salt and pepper, as well as some hot sauce to mine. The price and portion size are excellent. The service was very good just like it always is.

I don’t leave reviews very often – much less bad ones – but this place was nothing like I expected. The other reviewers must be talking about some other place! The Cuban sandwich had very little meat and tasted mediocre at best. My side of macaroni and cheese I found out was actually Easy Mac. I won’t be returning here.

Great cubans! The bread is key to a good cuban and Key West does it right. We usually split a full cuban with a side between the two of us. Great place to grab lunch if you are in the area.

You can get ½ a sandwich or a full sandwich. Full sandwich with a side and drink is $ 9.99. I’ve had their Cubans and ham sandwiches and they are both delicious. They toast the bread and if you get fully loaded it has lettuce, tomatoes, pickles cheese mayo and mustard. I usually ask for much less on mine but you can get it stacked if you prefer.
It doesn’t take long for the food. I love supporting local restaurants and this is a local breakfast or lunch spot people should try. Inside are high long bench tables.

I have only eaten here once but from my one experience this little sandwich shop has the best cuban in Panama City. The veggies tasted fresh and the meats were of good quality. I can’t wait to come back

Visiting PC every six months or so it seems to get harder and harder to find decent food with decent service. This place has great food with amazing service.
I had half a Cuban. Given I am from Tampa (home of the Cuban sandwich) it has to be amazing. This sandwich was good. Not the best I’ve had, but the star was the garlic sauce. Ooooommmmmggggg. Yummy!!! Gouda grits were good, I was excited they had a non fried option like most places here and the sweet tea was awesome!
The standout for me was the service. Very nice and intelligent! Which seems to be hard to find around here– he must have looked at my name on my debit card and called me «ms lauren» for my stay. He checked on me often and if a line ever formed, another guy popped up to help take orders.
A good ol boys hole in the wall and I’ll be back!

The Cuban sandwich is amazing. They also have this in-​house garlic sauce that can’t be beat!

Great Cuban sandwich, Gouda grits are awesome– must try! Weird store hours so get there early

My Cuban sandwich was so good I forgot to take a picture. I was so excited to try the Gouda grits but when I came in he said they sell out by about 12. Next time I will come earlier and actually remember to take a picture.

When I’m craving a Cuban, there’s no other place than Key West. It’s full of meat and pressed to perfection. Good fries too!

Had the club, liberally applied the garlic sauce and some franks. Best club sandwich I’ve had. Thick sliced ham and crunchy bacon. Add the Gouda grits to finish out an amazing meal.

Twice this week. Coming back for the CUBAN!!! It is flippin flappin awesome!!!

This place is great! First time here after getting the suggestion from one of my real estate team members, Daniel Hood. The cuban sandwich was very good and the guys who run the place are super friendly. Great service and great food! I highly recommend this place to any cuban sandwich afficiando!

Saturday lunchtime and the place was hopping busy. Outstanding Cuban sandwiches with multiple side dish choices and very reasonable prices. In business for over 6 years and you can tell why. the bread is excellent and toasted just right, the portions are very ample. Give it a try and you’ll be back for more. The garlic sauce is phenomenal!

Been going here regularly since 2007. great Cuban sandwiches, and most excellent garlic sauce on the side. the bread is just right too. Highly recommend for a good lunch. service is quick and froendly. a few tables inside or can get it to go.
