Of all the Cambodian restaurants in Lynn, I would choose this one. As a Cambodian local, I am highly upset with the customer service. The food is great, but customer service lacks. Management needs to really inform their employees on waiting on tables. My drink came after the food and every time the waitress(we had two) would ask«do you need anything else?» I felt like we were indirectly being asked to hurry up. A simple«how is everything?» would’ve been more pleasant than«do you need anything else?». The waitresses are also very soft spoken and I was sure she wasn’t too knowledgeable on her Khmer. We asked for a rice dish with«sach-ko,» which is beef, and I had to repeat the order because she was staring very hard at the menu to figure out what it was and asked if it was chicken. This restaurant really has a lot of potential and I don’t mean to be blunt, but I honestly wrote this review in hope that the staff would see this to make changes for improvement. Until then, I will be making the extra ten minute drive to Thmorda in Revere, where the wait staff is incredibly bubbly, ask how you are constantly, and seem to love waiting on customers.

Stopped by because we were craving Cambodian food. Decided to give it a first time try based on the reviews. First off the food is slightly above average but I’m rating it 3 stars because of the service. Poorly trained waiters but I would blame the management on that. I was watching divorce court while trying to enjoy my meal. Like really let’s put something better on TV. Place is spacious although but very limited parking. I only come here again if I was desperate again, even though I’m coming from CT visiting I would rather stick to my usual and go to Thmor Da in Revere.

Excellent family restaurant, well ran, great customer service with excellent food! What more can you ask for? I go here daily for lunch and the staff is pleasant and welcoming. They make accommodations if necessary, and will ensure you have a great experience. Unlike many of the other locations in Lynn for your Asian meals, this is one of the Gems in Lynn. Suggestions: *Phở’s are plentiful with beef and meatballs with no extra charge! *Beek Lok Lak, made to perfection *Chicken Cha Kreoung* — Excellent with perfect hints of spices Keep it up, and I’ll keep on returning :-)

Average food, decent menu with some good variety. Staff has always been very kind and helpful. Good boba shakes, coconut with pearls is always my choice. They renovated a couple years ago and it looks much better inside. Good amount of tables and it’s never been packed any of the times I’ve been, so I’ve never had to wait for a table. The parking is horrible. They don’t have any designated parking so you’ll be lucky if you can find a spot. There’s only street parking and there are other businesses on both sides of the restaurant. There have been times where I just went elsewhere because I gave up on trying to find a spot.

Decent khmer food with a reasonably priced menu. Plenty of options, although not as extensive as other restaurants. Most items on the menu are shown with pictures. Helps makes ordering easier! On my recent visit, they gave me the option to order a regular or large bowl of their noodle soup. This is a new addition, with the charge being $ 2 more, which they will not mention until you receive your check. I really dislike the parking, which is the reason I do not come here often. It’s located on the main road with limited space.

I’ve heard mixed reviews here so I wanted to experience it for myself. We ordered a bunch of dishes family style so that we could experience a variety.(We had to change our order multiple times because a number of things on the menu weren’t available). The Beef Loc Lac was mediocre in taste and quality. The Sach Ko Prahok wasn’t very good at all. Even my Cambodian friend said it was terrible. The one dish I do recommend is Salaw Machu Kreung. It’s a very tasty soup with various vegetables and meat. The soup base is is seasoned with Lime and everything blends well here. Especially after a cold day outside. Be wary of the bathrooms here. They are extremely unpleasant. I still encourage you to check this place out if you haven’t been. As I said, I’ve heard good and bad and a couple of the dishes I had were pretty good.

I’ve been here a few times and every time we ordered something, the food had been good and flavorful — that’s only when they actually have the food. We just tried to order beef teriyaki, chicken satay, egg rolls and papaya salad and they didn’t have ANY of them and it’s only 4pm on a Saturday. It took them a while to seat us, give us menu and get our drink order as well. If they weren’t so understaffed I would give them more stars because the food here is really good. I just asked for another big thing of rice while the waitress was setting the first bowl down and she just walked away and didn’t say anything. We got the rice so yeah. she heard us, just didn’t want to answer.

5 stars for food, 1 star for service. We one of the khymer fish soup and a khymer beef salad – both were amazing! We didn’t know anything about khymer food and ask for recommendations, but none were given. When asked for ingredients used, the waitress said she didn’t know what went on because she was only a waittress and didn’t cook. When paying, we waited for the waitress to take the check away but it took too long and we brought the check to the counter instead. Paid and tipped. No hello, no thank you, no see you again – nothing. I don’t even know why I tipped.

Cool looking place inside and decent employees, but food here is bland compared to other southeast Asian restaurants I’ve been to. I also usually have to wait wicked long here to get my food. One time I had to wait over 10 mins just to order one banh mi sandwich to go :/had I been in a huge rush and not paid ahead of time, I would’ve just walked out.

My mistake, I actually went through different restaurant and review this one in error. They can keep the five stars and I’ll make a point of going there this week while I’m in town.

Place needs some renovation. Food and service is good. A place where locals come in for authentic Cambodian food.

Talk about curb appeal? This place is almost scary from the outside. The décor inside is neuron-eclectic-asian… There are tables and booths and a full bar. It’s sort of dumpy. The service is good, very professional and efficient. The food is GOOD! Sorry I am to have but a single stomach and and so many dishes to try… Will update when more of the menu has been dowses… for now it is on my list to follow-up on…

I learned about this place reading this food blog and was really surprised to hear of a Boston top-rated chef finding a favorite spot in Lynn(not exactly known for being the nicest of towns…) Anyway, I decided to check it out. From the exterior, the place definitely looks a little seedy, but fits the character of the neighborhood. They apparently have really done it up lately with some fluorescent lighting all throughout the place which gives it a sort of different, but cool vibe. The cost of the food was all very low and service was quick. We asked our waiter for some recommendations and were pleased to try a cambodian noodle dish and well as a lemon soup that was bursting with flavor, spicy jalapeño peppers, fresh lemongrass and a variety of other herbs/spices I can’t exactly pinpoint. We also tried a scorpion bowl and were pleasantly surprised at the flaming display that was a very strong drink! We will be back. Only negatives would be the somewhat dive-like atmosphere and location, but the food was great.

Nice updated décor. Cool light fixtures. Now to the food! Stopped in for a light meal chicken satay 5 fatties per order delicate melt in your mouth grilled to perfection & marinated in a light peanut sauce. For 6.95 a good deal. Phở was generous and broth was aromatic and loaded with chicken and served with bean sprouts and thai basil. The owner came over was very knowledgable about the menu. See you soon. Gringos welcome. Forgot to mention full bar !!! Been back many times and have never been disappointed. Explore the menu try something new.

great place in Lynn for cambodian food! I’ve ordered the meeh ka tung– dry and traditional– they make it spicy, the beef and seafood are good. the lort cha and cripsy yellow noodles and also good– i got the calamari for take out last week and it was not fresh and very greasy– not sure I would order this again but overall #1 choice for southeast asian cuisine in the area– they renovated the interior, updated their menu, added a bar, its clean, owner is nice! their open late night on the weekend :)

I LOVETHISPLACE!!! I’ve been coming here since 2005−6ish when it was under a different owner/staff. I have to say, the place is starting to look really good, love the fact that now they have alcohol! But the food, after all, that’s what everyone wants to know. The food has NEVER disappointed me… I started going there for their Pad Tai, which has been improved immensely! Soooo much fresher and the flavor is super yummy, finger licking to be exact! I’ve had their«bread stick», their friend egg rolls, last nite we had their Chicken Fingers with spices all over them and their chilli dipping sauce and they were delicious!!! But my favorite thing to go for there is their selection of Soups… They are all made to order, full of flavor and your choice of meats or veggies. Overall I cant say enough good things about this place… Now I just need a large group of friends to try their hot pots!!!

Not so sure about the décor but its not bad for convient and local Khmer food. Waiting after you order takes a good 20mins… so don’t come if you’re in a rush.

I stopped by for lunch and ordered the dry stir fried rice noodles. I wanted the curry noodle, but they were out. My dish came out hot and very quickly. The noodles definitely had that wok hey(restaurant quality stir fried flavor), which is super difficult to replicate at home. I added pickled peppers from the table, which looked a little suspect since they were bubbly, but meh, I ate them anyway since pickles normally are pretty bacteria free(right?) and they tasted fine. Actually really good. My only minor complaints are that I really wanted curry noodles and the noodles were a little too greasy. I came back later to use the bathroom and try the boba, and I def give the boba 2.5 starts. The watermelon smoothie was pretty lackluster and watered down and there were literally a single layer of boba… which was just sad.
