Shaw’s

What can I say, it’s Shaws. Clean store, usually long lines as there’s not more than 2 or 3 registers open at a time. They have a pharmacy and western union is available. Market basket or stop and shop is probably a better option anyways, unless your in the area

Only go here for sales. Market Basket is always my 1^st choice. Went to get 4 diet dew (4for 10) 3^rd time during the week out of stock, asked for rain check, did not happen first the floor manager was aggravated that she was called to assist a customer, you could tell from the customer service person helping me this was not going to be good, when the manager arrived she yelled at the guy did you call the Pepsi guy? What heck does that mean, then yelled did you call out back. I decided to load my other items in the car when I got back she barked at me there is plenty of diet mountain dew, when I pointed out that was all regular dew, she barked no one told me you wanted diet, she did tell me «There is plenty of Diet Mountain Dew», she was informed by the customer service person and myself that I wanted Diet. At that time I left the store she barked at me and walked away. Feel sorry for the people that have to work with her, if she teats a customer that way, imagine how she treats her co-​workers.

Horrible store that can’t tell me when machines will be fixed. Can return machine says downloading bar codes, when will it be running again? Manager says I don’t know and starts yelling when I ask you, Why don’t you know. Avoid the place at all costs.

For the most part it’s a pretty clean store. Not in the greatest part of town. But hey IS there a good part of Lynn? Ha. I like the fact that you no longer need a ‘card’ to get the sale price. The lines are usually long, out of 15 registers usually only 3 are open. Also self checkout would make the process a bit quicker. They have Spanish frying cheese which they do not sell in my local Shaws. Not a terrible store but not the greatest

This is a nice store in a not so nice neighborhood. They have tons of ethnic foods, and you can find all kinds of unusual things to eat. some that you will like, and some that you end up throwing out. They don’t bill themselves as a world market, but they must have a wide variety of immigrants in the area. so, really, if you are into trying new types of food, this place had more than most, like a trader joe’s, but not as north-​euro centric.
