Love this place! Missy is absolutely fantastic, my partner introduced my to her and i absolutely love what she does. Always considerate of my choices but provides her professional opinion in the most friendly way.

Missy did an amazing job! I have been going to Gene Juarez in the past but just moved to the area and this was near me so I decided to give it a try and I am glad I did! I got a great haircut for half the price of what I am used to paying! I will be going here from now on!

Missy is amazeballs big balls of amazing! This woman is to hair what Tom Douglas is to food. She is also one of the stylists in this hidden gem that sits on 99 in North Lynnwood.
The salon itself is not super fancy, and you’d never know it from the outside that they are so amazing; but know they have some amazing stylists here. Missy is an expert at cuts, color and perms (yes, people still get those). I have hair that’s funky and unmanageable, yet she is able to give me a style that looks great and is easy to take care of.
But, let’s talk about color — this woman is absolutely amazing with color. I always tell her she can have her way with me. The end result is always something unique yet classy. Plus, her personality is both hilarious and no-​nonsense; she’ll keep you in stitches and make the the time go so quickly.
So, if you are from near or far, travel North on 99 and pop in to see Missy!

I’ve been going to see Gina for six years and I can’t imagine going anywhere else. She’s an amazing colorist and her cuts are genius. If you’re looking for a spa experience this is not it. This is a great hairstyle at a great price.

Gina has been cutting my hair for 10+ years now! I can’t believe it’s been that long. Even while I lived in Seattle, I made the commute back to Lynnwood to see Gina. She always does a fantastic job and I trust her completely! I highly recommend this place to anyone! :)

Ok, let’s be honest, the name leaves a little to be desired…
But the people and the fabulous job they do are head and shoulders (pardon my lame pun) above the competition.
I met my stylist, Missy Trujillo, when her family used my car service (I actually just arranged limo service for them) about a year ago.
I love to patronize small, local businesses, particularly when they use my services, and, as a fairly new transplant out here, I had not found a stylist that could match my stylist in Atlanta.
That was until I met Missy. She did a color consult with me, because I’ve got quite a few grays hairs making their appearance. Can anyone say, Bonnie Raitt?
The mark of a truly great professional is someone who listens to what you want but is strong enough to let you know that maybe that isn’t the best move for you.
She made several great suggestions and I walked out of there feeling better than I can remember about my hair.
I just can’t say enough about Missy and the whole gang at A-​1.
They make you feel great about knowing them and doing business with them.

Jessie has been cutting my hair since I was her receptionist at Supercuts eons ago. She is AMAZING and A1 is a gem.

Jessie is the best stylist around! And she’s a great conversationalist. I’ve seen her for years and have referred about a dozen people to her. I’m always getting great compliments about my hair, I take no credit. My teenaged daughters love going there too.
