Alderwood Heights

That being said, everything I saw was nice! The grounds looked well kept, the apartment itself looked well taken care of, and Michelle at the office was so friendly! I was initially worried about the location, since it’s so close to the mall, but the complex is up on the hill and sprawls back against the park, so it seemed tucked out of the way enough.
After a LOT of searching in the greater Lynnwood area, from Shoreline to Everett, I found that Alderwood Heights was one of the more reasonably priced places without sacrificing much (like, they have double pane windows, which is more than I can say for most other places in the same price range). The only reason I didn’t end up renting here is that I found another place too close to work to pass up.
Def worth checking out, and make sure you call! They had significantly lower rates than what it said online

***This is a warning to any prospective tenant applying to Alderwood.
Be very careful with the holding deposit the take from you. They will keep it even if you are not qualified to take the apartment. Basically stealing $ 300 from the lowest income applicants that need that money the most. YOU HAVE 72HRS FROM THE MOMENT YOU PAY THAT HOLDING FEE TO CANCEL AND ASK FOR A REFUND. Be careful

It’s quiet at night even on the weekends parking is good. The apartments are not worth the money. Cabinets are crumbling kitchen cabinets and counter tops have seen better days it’s old and really tiny for the money. Watch out for the staff. They will tell on you to the office, and then you get little notes on your door. They even tell stuff that isn’t true so watch your back the staff is not your friend. I Am not renewing my lease. The tenants are the police and they will monitor you also.

A wonderful place to live for sure. Management is superb and so is staff. Maintenance always on top of things and property well kept.
The kitchen could use an update for sure.
Rent is a bit on the steep side and one can get a newly remolded apartment for what we pay, but thanks to staff I can overlook this.

We paid first .last and a extra security deposit WHEN we moved it…
… Now they turn around and say we owe last month’s rent… I was also told we had till June 30^th to be out and now they are saying we have to be out at the end of this month!!!
This complex is full of liars… theifts and I’ll never recommend this place. They raised our rent 150 bucks!!!
Taking these guys to court!!!
DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!
