I went to this store to just look around while my husband was getting a pizza at the Little Caesars nearby. I was looking at the lipsticks and grabbed one of the testers and tested it on the back of my hand to see how it looked against my skin tone, when out of no where there was an elderly woman that started to yell for security and saying that I was stealing the lipstick! I was speechless, when the manager came over, I let him know that I was just testing using the tester, but he didn’t listen to me at all. He then escorted me out, as if I was some common criminal. I was embarrassed and mortified, all I did was try a tester, but it seems this elderly woman was to be believed more than myself, even though I had the TESTER in my hand and showed him what I was doing. The old woman even told the manager that he should have been watching me closer, I happen to be of Mexican/​Italian lineage. This visit was very saddening and very embarrassing.

I would give zero stars if that was an option. The pharmacy pretends like they are your Dr, that they have your test results and know more than a highly awarded professional DR in the field. They provide zero services, and they try to tell you what is best for you without having the real answers. Save yourself headach and find a real pharmacy with a heart and who is professional.
The sore employees may be fine I do not know. This is a review of the mean and narrow sighted pharmacy.

Recently switched from Safeway across the street to here for our monthly meds. Much better service at the counter here at Bartell Drugs. Getting smiles with a friendly attitude is much improved over dealing with the other place and people that hated their job!

i always get my prescriptions filled her. i see the pharmacists working with people on their insurance trying to figure everything out and always appear helpful and friendly. my prescriptions are always accurate and done before the 20 – 25 minute wait.

I always prefer Bartell Drugs over RiteAid or Walgreens.
First, they are a local company in the Northwest, but they still have enough locations to make it convenient.
Second, as is the case with this new Lake Serene store that just opened in 2010, they are well-​organized and clean. The shelves are not so tall they’re above your head like they are in other chains, which really helps you locate the aisle you need and doesn’t make you feel overwhelmed.
The customer service is above average. Nothing to write home about, but at least the staff are alive. Sometimes at Walgreens/​RiteAid, it seems like they’d rather die than check one more person out.
This store is located at the corner of Highway 99 and 148th in Lynnwood, just across the street from Safeway.
