Their honey cake is out of this world! They have a good variety of European sausages. I love their kielbasa the best.

Great little neighborhood store — simple, unassuming, and great variety for a small space. We drive up from Seattle just for the German bread! Always end up getting something else as well. Prices are good, and make it worth the trip.

This store is been here for many years and every time i went inside it was empty … the hours are 11:00AM — 8:00PM I would be a little suspicious about some items in this store just because the turn around is kinda slow and lots of them might be expired but its just me being paranoid :) go in there and say hello …

Great store. Are you hungry for some russian sweets, polish sausage, russian sausage, smoke mackerel, russian pirogi or russian cakes? I tried a lots of it and it is good. Or if you want to try some russian marinated pickles and some homemade salads, it is here to come. You can find pelmeni in frozen food section. It is a weak imitation of a true Russian(Ucranian) Kitchen. These are not the same as a homemade. The store is pretty small, but there are a lots of choices. One time I was buying Black Caviar there. So, yeah plenty of choices for this small store. Pick up a free Russian World newspaper on the way out. Service is friendly, the speak Russian and English. You can even rent a movie in Russian. I like to buy smoked food here. It is pretty good.

A very cool spot hunkered down in a nondescript strip mall on 44th. I don’t know what half the stuff here is, but it’s clearly come a long way to get here and the prices are reasonable. You can get a lot of packaged goodness – canned fish, fermented things(not just pickles), cookies and other desserts, and starchy items like noodles and other pasta. There’s one aisle of some table wines and sweet wines, all from behind the iron curtain(as it were). There’s a meat case behind the aisles of shelves, and a few coolers with cheese and other dairy along with a few fancier dessert items. I opted for some white cow’s milk cheese from Bulgaria, tangy Estonian salami, and some country rye bread baked in BC but clearly in an eastern european style, if the packaging is any indication. The little finger sandwiches I’ve been making with these things weigh about a pound a piece. All of the ingredients are incredibly dense. The staff is friendly and cheerful, though much more reserved than the typical American retail clerk. I love having this place here in my hood and will definitely be back. I need to add some photos at the very least.
