huh?! why is this business listed as a retail bakery for consumers? i drove up and down 196th trying to find this place only to locate it in a maze of a plaza. this place is a wholesale business and doesn’t offer baked goods for public consumers. i drove all the way here only to be disappointed and ended up at whole foods down the street.

Amazing, amazing, amazing. *claps hands* *attempts back flip* *breaks neck* *still eats cake* Order the best cake in the universe –white chocolate coconut cake– or «dessert lovers and haters crack» as I like to call it. I rarely eat dessert, its just not my jam. But you can’t help but eat the entire piece, its THAT good. This is the type of cake you finally realize you like coconut. if all coconut was like this. This is the type of cake that makes you realize you’re a shitty baker with no hope. This is the type of cake you lie to your guests and say you’re saving a piece for someone but really ITSYOU at 2am in the morning. Call ahead, this isn’t a store front. They also bake the desserts for The Met(yes THE Met in downtown Seattle). Need a pro tip? Refrigerate the cake right before serving, I prefer it cold.

Finales strikes a rare balance. At once, they are both perfectly streamlined and terribly care-full. Their products are fairly priced and perfectly consistent. Many businesses can deliver this consistency, but few manage to keep putting the proper amount of love into each pastry. Finales is a beautiful, family run machine and you can taste it. Wholesale customer for 1.5 years.
