Such a wonderful organization with two amazing and able women at the helm! We cleaned out our parents’ home of over 50 years and it is hard emotionally and physically difficult to let go of things, but due to FINDINGTREASURES for a cure, this process became gratifying. Thank you Jeanne and Chris!

I love the concept of this store and each time I come in, the ladies working are super nice and always going through new loot. They just moved into a bigger location not that long ago and things are much more organized than they used to be. They have such a wide variety of items and some off the wall stuff that makes you scratch your head. Some of the prices are a little high but then again thanks to Macklemore, thifting is now a hipster art. It’s all good, I don’t hate, I am just cheap.

If you’re up at the Lynnwood Goodwill, you should also stop in at Finding Treasures, which is just across the parking lot — you can park in one lot and walk over to the other store. This medium-large, independently run thrift shop is fairly clean and well organized. We were greeted as we came in and told about the current sale, and then left to poke around on our own, which is just the way I like it. The selection of women’s clothes was limited the day I was there, but there is a pretty big sewing and craft department with notions and supplies. The glassware and kitchenware departments were also well stocked. The prices were OK, maybe a bit high for the clothing, but you could snag a deal on the sales. I don’t know that I’d go all the way up to Lynnwood just to visit this store, but if you’re in the north end and doing a bunch of thrifting, Finding Treasures is a quick stop and worth checking out.

Definitely one of the coolest thrift stores I have been to. Neat and unique items at pretty good prices. They have the normal Goodwill type of junk but they also have a healthy selection of older eclectic items that you would normally only find at specialty or antique stores.

I found so many awesome toys at this shop! Chris is amazing and took the time to get to know me. For being a thrift shop surrounded by thrift shops this place can definitely hold it’s own. Macklemore would love this place. I’d ramble on about how the profits help some charity and how that’s cool… But I’m more stoked for the rad stuff i find digging around the shop! Does that make me a bad person?

Such an appropriate name for this amazing store. One of the things I love about thropping is hunting for assorted treasures and baubles. There are so many chain thrift stores that are set up just like a department store that it sort of takes the fun away. I also find that many chain thrift stores are so expensive compared to the actual value of the thing they are selling. I feel so great shopping here because I know the money is actually going for something very worthwhile, and the store is a labor of love. My friend found an awesome Versace bag, and I found a great pair of Minnetonka moccasin boots. My boots were only $ 4.99, and they were practically brand new. My friend’s bag was also super inexpensive, I just can’t remember the price she paid. The store is a little off the beaten path, but is an excellent location because it’s right across the street from the Lynnwood Goodwill. The owners are so nice, and every person who works there is willing to help and often times they will negotiate. This is like thropping the way it used to be – more like a treasure hunt than anything else. I totally recommend coming here if you are on a thropping mission — you won’t be sorry!
