JCPenney Salon

Anna is absolutely fantastic. Amazing. Stupendous! She did exactly what I asked her to do with my hair and was chatty and happy. She took her time and styled it perfectly. She worked my son in and cut his hair too! He’s only two and taking him in for haircuts is a nightmare to say the least. He liked her and trusted her and we got his haircut accomplished. It was a really great experience and I can’t say enough positive things.

Thank you Amber for this unbelievable color. I have plum melted into red and so many compliments. You do great work and i love the way you explianed everything in terms i could understand. Im sending my sister to you next week. The salon needs some updating but it is big and bright and what friendly coworkers you have! I think i went to maybe four other places first for consults about this color i wanted and Amber was the only one who took me to her chair and touched my hair and had so many fun ideas i knew i had found the right place.

I got a $ 50 color and cut coupon in the mail since I am a loyal Penney’s customer. When I made the app. I requested someone who specializes in color since I have long hair and it pulls red if the colorist is not experienced. The woman they assigned me to said she was a Master Stylist so she would have to charge me more. Then she said she would have to charge me more since I have long hair. I went on an on how I do not want red or warm tones. I want ash. The salon was too cold to sit processing color. Everyone complains about it being cold. I left with copper hair. She complained about not making enough money working there. I tipped her. Both the color and cut were awful. I came home with shampoo or conditioner half way up the back of my head since she washed my hair out wearing gloves and could not feel the products in it. They guarantee their work so I went back and gave them a chance to make it right. The stylist doing the repair was not aware it was a free fix despite my good communication. She toned it and put some foils in. 2 weeks later the toner wore off. I called back. The stylist said she told me it would only last 2 weeks. So for the length of my hair she offered to tone it every 2 weeks for $ 15. Just want I want to do. Drive all the way there and have more chemicals put on every 2 wks. What a deal! The cut was fringed on the ends and shorter in the middle across the back. I asked for a blunt straight across undercut. The old woman who was my age said I was like a teenager. Just because I am not fat and am able to move correctly. Just because I want long hair and can pull it off does not make me a teenager. I now have dark all one color shorter hair thanks to this salon. I would not recommmend them. Might as well go to Hairmasters and take your chances. At least they heat their salons. I could not have tried harder to get the correct stylist for my needs. The receptionist just fed me up to the worst stylist for long hair. All the while she was trying to get me to buy products.

girlfriend was crying after she got her haircut there. avoid Erica! She showed her a picture and when she was done she looked nothing like it and lost alot of progress on the look she was growing her hair for.

Great salon! Excellent customer service, very nice staff with a lot of talent. The prices are great and there are always coupons to use for hair services and products. The salon is located at the back of the store near the shoe department.

I’m very happy with my overall experience. I called to schedule an appointment and they were able to schedule me the same day. The staff is friendly and the salon itself was clean and well organized. I was scheduled with Sarah, she was very friendly and professional. The prices were reasonable, look forward to try some of their other services, will definitely come back.

I got my haircut here while i was in the mall. I normally wouldn’t have stopped for a trim here, but I’m glad i did. Erica cut my hair and was awesome and the price was reasonable. I think I’m gonna start coming in on a regular basis.

Anna is wonderful! She does a great job, she is professional, and she is on time. She has done my whole family’s hair for the past 3 years, and we could not be happier!

The Salon in itself, i rate 3 stars. The lighting isn’t great, flourecent bulbs. It’s not astetically pleasing to the eye. The salon staff is friendly, but not exceptionally comforting. They have good products, and often have great SALES and specials.
HOWEVER.
I started to see my hairdresser when she worked at Aveda, i recently followed her to JCPenny Salon (since it is closer to her house).
She is amazing.
She is the only reason I would ever go there. I would rate her as many stars as i could! I have turned many people onto her. Whenever i get my hair done, everyone wants to know where i go. I have sent many people to her who are now her regulars.
If you do go to the salon,
it’s woth it.
