My husband and I have been going to Dr. Kim since he took over the practice from the previous dentist. He and his staff are always professional, and I have always had a good experience here. Dr Kim is conscientious, and I feel that I receive quality care. I am also shocked to read the one star review! I have referred him to other family members whom also now receive their dental care here.

Shocked to read that 1 star review! Makes me wonder if Alissa was making appointments to get her teeth cleaned every six months before switching dentists…
On another note, I’ve been going to this dentist office since I was a little girl and have always had a great experience. I even remember playing in the mound of stuffed animals they had in the waiting room and the excitement of getting to pick out a toy from the toy bin after the cleaning was over!
Although I hate, hate, hate, with a passion, getting my teeth cleaned, Dr. Kim, Carol and Cathy have all been so wonderful in helping ease the discomfort every six months when I come in for my appointment. Everyone who works there is very friendly, and each visit we all get to catch up on all the happenings that have taken place since my last visit, such as kids, pets and just everyday life in general.
About three years ago, I had to get gum surgery that left me with an extreme phobia and high level of anxiety associated with anyone working in my mouth. Since then, I’ve been a complete mess before and during simple teeth cleanings. Dr. Kim and his staff was able to accommodate my elevated fear and anxiety by offering nitrous to calm my nerves during the cleaning.
I wouldn’t consider the nitrous to be the main root of the solution for what helps calm my anxiety. Instead, it’s Cathy’s gentle hands and stimulating conversation that helps take my mind off the work being done in my mouth. The dental assistant, Carol even joins in when she’s not with a patient, leaving me laughing while I white knuckle hold onto the arms of the chair.
Last week, I dreaded my cleaning appointment so much that I had nightmare’s that woke me up all night in a cold sweat. When the appointment day arrived and I was sitting in the chair, terrified. Dr. Kim came by and reassured me that it would be ok, and Carol comforted me as well. Cathy and I started talking while the cleaning got underway and before I knew it, the cleaning was over. I truly owe it to Cathy, Dr. Kim and Carol for helping me combat against the fear and anxiety that gum surgery has left me with.
After the cleaning was finished, I stopped by the toy box and picked out a whoppie cushion, which was later strategically placed on my better half’s side of the bed.

I read the review from Alissa and was a little shocked to see such a review. I will be writing a review for Dr. Kim to prove the opposite.
I’ve been a patient of Dr. Kim’s for over 10 years and referred friends there. He is all about quality care and the procedures I have had there have been quick and painless. My three big features when looking for a dentist are quality, friendliness and efficiency, all of which Dr. Kim has.
The office is clean, and he has a top notch staff as well. I can’t believe why Alissa wrote such a review.
I intend to go see Dr. Kim as long he is in practice and can definitely vouch for him that he is a top notch dentist and will recommend him to anyone.

I have been going to Dr Kim’s office for a number of years now and I know I can always trust that he is giving me an honest assessment and not just trying to rip me off. There was one time I thought I needed to get my fillings replaced and he told me that it wasn’t necessary when it would have been easy for him to just do the procedure and make more money.
I have had heard some horror stories that people have with other dentists telling them that they need to spend a lot of money on procedures they don’t need and I’ve never experienced that with Dr. Kim. In the few times I have gone in for procedures aside from my routine exams, there is little to no pain (even when he applies the novacaine) and he is very fast. I haven’t had any issues with any of the work I have gotten there at all so his work is very high quality. I also know that he regularly attends seminars and conferences in order to ensure that he is kept informed as much as possible on everything that is going on in dentistry.
The rest of the staff is great and friendly, too!

I’ve been going to Dr. Kim for many years. He is professional and I am very pleased with the results of some major procedures recently done. He is the best dentist I’ve been too. It’s been hard to find an expert who is also caring, and I’m glad I found him. I recommend him to all of my friends.

really disappointed in Dr. Kim’s work. I had been going to his office for over 10 years, when I decided to get the opinion of another dentist and family friend. After a routine cleaning I found out that SIX of the fillings I had done at Dr. Kim’s office had leaky margins, which basically means they were not sealed so the tooth was decaying underneath.
I had dental insurance when I went to Dr. Kims, but now I do not, so all my repairs I’ve had to have re-​done because he did them wrong have cost me incredible amounts of money out of pocket.
Additionally, a few fillings i had done at Dr. Kims had no contact point, which means they were not touching and therefore food constantly got stuck between the teeth and even with regular daily cleaning of my teeth, that still did not prevent decay from happening where the teeth were not properly reshaped during the filling stage.
I now have one tooth that Dr. Kim did not make contact with, that will need a crown because in order to fix the problems created by not filling teeth properly I lost much of the tooth anatomy on that tooth. Now I will need a crown within the next year, which will be very costly.
If this dentist had done things right the first time I wouldn’t have had to shell out thousands of dollars because i would have had good fillings done under my dental insurance. It’s unfortunate there are a lot of bad dentists out there these days, but it’s important that people looking to find a good one are warned of people’s experiences.
I initially liked Dr. Kim because he was fast and I didn’t have to spend a lot of time at the dentist, but now i realize that fast does not mean GOOD AT WHAT YOU DO. If he had just taken more time to do proper fillings I wouldn’t be spending all this time fixing leaky margins and teeth that aren’t making contact with each other.
I will not be going back to Dr. Kim’s office and I would never recommend anyone to this office. If you are a patient of Dr. Kim’s I think you should go get a second opinion on any fillings he has done to find out if your fillings are indeed okay because most of mine were not.
