MySecretAgent

I’ve had a lot of experience working with flat fee services such as MySecretAgent and full service agents over the past 30 years. Recently, I helped my husband sell one of his houses through MySecretAgent. The experience was very positive. If you are looking to save a lot of money in listing agent fees and like the idea of do-​it-​yourself to save money, the do-​it-​yourself online tools that MySecretAgent provides are very easy. You don’t have to be tech savvy at all. If you can upload pictures to Facebook, you can upload house photos with their tools. We loved the ease, and could make changes as often as we wanted. With each change, an updated contract would automatically get generated. It was actually fun updating his listing! Easy. Easy. Easy.

I have used mysecretagent twice now to list and sell homes. I first sold a condo in Portland. I spent time researching how to list it right and completed my own comparative analysis using redfin sold data and current listings. I ended up selling in 3 days with a full priced cash offer. The second time I used this service I listed a house. Again, I researched the market, staged the home and tried to take care of the details a buyer would care about. Within 2 days I had competing offers and ultimately accepted an offer that was 5% higher than asking. In both cases I offered the buyers agent 2%, saving myself 4% from the traditional cost of selling… In total I have saved over $ 40,000 (only counting commission) by listing these properties myself. So far we are not impressed with these services. We’ve had our property listed for a month and have not had great communication with agents. Company advertises that they can list anywhere, they can post in MLS BUT they are not truly able to offer FULL services everywhere. I am still waiting to hear back from a representative in regards to my listing… customer service not so great.

Great service and amazing value for the price! The team is super resposive. Someone picked up the phone literally every time I tried to call them even when it was past 5 p.m. one evening. Highly recommended!
