Precision Collision Auto Body

Very impressed by the work done at this shop. I had a rather simple issue where someone had keyed my car, but knew nothing involving automotive paint was going to be cheap. The initial estimate came in below what I was assuming the cost would be and the actual price was even less than that. This was because the painter felt he could blend in the new paint without going as far back as estimated. This in turn saved me another $ 90. I appreciate the shop’s effort to do the job fairly rather than to charge me as much as possible. They even did some minor touch up work unrelated to the scratch for free. This was my second time taking my car to Precision Collision. Hopefully the last but if I need repairs again I know where to go.

Have I ever written a review about an auto repair shop? No! But this place is too good not to give praise about. I’m glad USAA recommended after I got into a little fender bender. Completely reliable, professional and was so pleasantly surprised to pick up my perfectly detailed car when the work was done.

I had an unfortunate experience which is seemingly inevitable– someone rear ended me.
Fortunately, my car insurance company (USAA), who I trust fully, had Precision Collision as a «trusted repair shop.»

CON (there’s only one)
* They are only open M-​F until 6. I live in Lynnwood and work on Capitol Hill, making it virtually impossible to ever get my car there. Thankfully, while I’m a full time student, my schedule is more flexible.
They do have a night drop box for your keys, but that would require the rental car company to be open at that hour, and of course, most rental car companies are only open until 6 also.

I was supposed to pick up my car on a Friday, but the manager called me to say there was a slight «imperfection» that he noted on the bumper when he inspected it. He asked if it would be alright for them to keep the car until Monday. I agreed and was very appreciative of his attention to detail.
I would hope I never need their services again, but if I do, I would trust them once again with my car.

The service during my estimate was friendly and personable; however, there prices were over $ 100 dollars (15% more) then AlderCrest in the same city. This is part of a big chain of repair shops and it seems they are more interested in charging as much as possible then doing a quality job for the most value for their guests.
