Anyone with a phone line, a computer connection & a pulse can call service contractors for you and then pack in a fee, for you to pay. Had this company frequently call me to service BIG chain restaurants only because they found our # in a phone directory. We declined working with them because these out-of-state boiler-room type operations usually scam the contractor or person working on your property. You can realistically save 30% by hiring your own service company.

SMS is a broker who subcontracts out the work to the actual installers /service providers. So there is two problems for the consumer 1: You are paying a premium price when you can just go directly to the installer for the service provider you are looking for. 2. If you have an issue with SMS in my experience they won’t be getting back to you. I called about a bloated inflated invoice and was told by the individual from SMS that he will get«back to me». Of course that never happened. Anyhow lesson learned. I would suggest anyone considering them bypass them maybe do some more internet search on other links re: complaints about them.

I bought the living social deal and wanted to give it a try. I want to schedule for a lawn mowing and I didn’t get schedule for 2 weeks. They couldn’t schedule a time, until it’s the day before I got a email they are coming. Meanwhile my grass is growing taller and taller. Then on the day of, I asked what time(a range) and they said don’t know and there is no way to reach the technician. I waited and waited but I don’t live in the house so it was annoying. They came when I left and did a poor job. There were scraps everything and the chopped grass were laying on the lawn. It felt a tornado has hit the house. I would not recommend them to my friends.
