I consider myself a Thai food connoisseur, it’s my favorite food and I go out of my way to try it out in many places. However no matter how hard I search I never found a place better than Taley Thai. The food is always a notch above than any other place. My favorite go to is Pad Thai, A course enough for two. Also try the red curry. My favorite soup there is Tom ka. Although the décor and waiters isnt as good as other restaurants the food just blows me away every time. A must try for any Thai lover-5 stars. Tank

Tried this place because of the good reviews on Unilocal. It was good but honesty I have had better. I had the Tom Yum soup, Panang Chicken and Phad Tai and pork fried rice. The serving size was great, had to take home food. Panang Chicken was good but a little sweet. The Phad Tai was very good. Friendly service, clean restaurant.

Great Thai food, really well seasoned and perfect Spiciness. Ordered for Pickup and was ready in time, and they were very nice and greeted me when I walked in. I got two orders of Red Curry, a Crab Phad Thai which I highly Recommend(Real Crab) and two orders of Black sticky rice pudding. Everything was perfect and warm, and servings were large and worth the price. Great first time experience and plan to make it my permanent restaurant when I am craving Thai food!

After the storm hit this past weekend we were without power and craving some nice warm thai food. Apparently we were the only ones in this situation. The restaurant was pretty busy considering it was later in the even, probably 730 is when we got to the restaurant. The service was OK. The waitress forgot to bring our tea and then when we were done we had paid but we were just waiting to get some boxes to wrap up for about 10 minutes. Luckily we had full bellies. We had the cashew chicken and beef pad si ewe. Both were excellent. The beef was very tender and the veggies in both dishes were really fresh. This place would probably have been 5 stars if they had one other waiter worker to help with the influx of customers that night.

WOW! Probably one of the most underrated thai places I found since I moved to Washington. I got the pad kee mao and the vegetables were insanely fresh!

My cousins and I were in the mood for something savory so we Unilocaled around and found this place. Great service, very attentive. They kept coming around to fill our water and see if we were enjoying our food(we did!) We ordered: Chicken pad Thai — medium($ 9.95) Chicken pad Thai– level 4($ 9.95) Beef pad Thai– mild($ 9.95) Cream cheese wonton(came with 8) Papaya salad Stuffed chicken(I forgot the exact name) Sticky rice Thai iced coffee($ 2 – 3) Thai tea($ 2 – 3) Overall the food was very delicious, the presentation of the food really caught my eye.(So pretty!) The papaya salad was pretty spicy. I don’t remember what level we ordered but there was really a kick to it! Cream cheese wonton was yummmmm. The pad Thai was very flavorful, and the portion was pretty generous.

Average price is 9.50 $, good portion and delicious food! Tend to be spicy so if you like it mild go for a 2 instead of 3.

Whenever I’m in the area I go to this place and usually order the papaya salad. It’s the only place close by that serves it. Friendly staff and they know you just by phone number when you order take out.

This is my favorite Thai place in Lynnwood. First of all the prices are reasonable, the food is super fresh, quick friendly service, and most importantly the food tastes great. My favorites are Pad Kee Mao, and the tom ka gai. The only downside is the location at times you have folks panhandling. I went online recently and I noticed they deliver up to 2 miles. :) If you are looking for a fast affordable meal come here!

I had better Thai food, but this place isn’t bad if you are in the area craving Thai food. Maybe I’m just spoiled living in a heavily Asian populated area with like 10 Thai restaurants to choose from within a small mile radius. The price was good, the service was fine. Talay Thai is located in this strip shopping area, parking was easy to find. I’m surprised that it was an easy breeze to get a table on a Friday night, the restaurant was busy, but we weren’t ignored at all. We got our food within a reasonable time and wasn’t rushed to get done with it either. Tell me about your experience if you’ve been here or is going to after reading this review:)

Pad see ew for lunch today. It was quick and yum only issue I had was that my friends food came out a good ten mins before mine, which made for and awkward back and forth. But the Pad see ew was great!

Service was lacking. Ordered the crazy beef salad, papaya salad, seafood tom yum, and beef pad Thai. The crazy beef salad was good!!! Definitely must order this. Everything else was meh. The papaya salad was way too sweet for me, tom yum soup literally tasted like mama tom yum instant noodle seasoning added with lots of chili oil in, and the pad Thai came out way too mushy and sweet. It also tasted like straight up ketchup! Will not go back. If you come here just order the crazy beef salad.

The food here was ok, the price was good but honestly the service was so bad I would not come here again. I do understand I came here at dinner time but part of the staff looked untrained and just stood there while one or two ladies did all the work. Our order was forgotten, no one attended us, and it took several tries to talk to someone who we could actually order from. I honestly feel bad because this place looked so understaffed and that just made it seem like a mess. Hope they hire and train their waiters better.

Awesome service! The garlic noodles and pad see iew were so good! Also the crab wontons were very tastey. Can’t wait to come back, I definitely want to try the Boat Beef Soup.

I’ve been to this place a couple of times now and I love it. Granted it’s in a pretty shady area of Lynnwood and I’m pretty sure people were doing drugs in the alleyway, the restaurant itself is really nice. I love the décor and the bright vibe. The food is delicious and pretty authentic Thai food. I’ve had the Papaya Salad, Tom Yum soup, Tom Kha Soup, Pad Kee Mao, Moo Yang, and the Talay Thai Curry. I’m constantly craving their Papaya salad, which is one of the best I’ve had in Seattle/Lynnwood especially with a side of their sticky rice. The Tom Kha soup and Moo Yang are also awesome though the rest of the dishes I’ve had here ranged from average to good. Spice scale is pretty standard and you get what you order in terms of spice stars. The restaurant is usually pretty packed, but the service has always been great. Food comes out quickly and servers are attentive. This is definitely my go to Thai place in Lynnwood.

Two stars for the food. It was good, nothing too special about it. I went here for dinner, they were really busy and didn’t have a few things on their menu available. We wanted order a small soup but our waiter said that the small size wasn’t available, but it was clearly on their dinner menu. So we ordered a large. Then we wanted to order the papaya salad but he was told that they were out of it for the night. In the end we just ordered tom ka and talay curry, both orders did not come with rice. So we order a side of sticky rice for extra cost. After finishing the tom ka our sticky rice has yet to be seen. We asked a waitress again and it was clear that she had forgotten that order. So we wait a few more minutes. In the end we just boxed out leftover curry and canceled the rice order. I understand that things can be a little hectic when it gets busy but from start to finish it was clear why this place has such bad reviews when it comes to their service.

I don’t know why this place has high reviews but I wouldn’t come back. Service: very unprofessional and one of the worst I’ve experienced. Walked in I wasn’t greeted, nor made any eye contact with me. We accidentally ordered a wrong dish, satay chicken vs fried satay chicken, and when we were really confused cause of the Unilocal pics the waiter told us rudely«You ordered that!» instead of letting us explain that we ordered the wrong dish. She was inconsiderate, and didn’t let us explain, before she walked off. Towards the end of my meal, two waiters started cleaning up our table while two people were still eating. I felt rushed and it was extremely rude of them to start taking our utensils and plates without asking us «may I take your plate» because some of us were not finished. One of them put our dirty utensils in our unfinished Tom Yum soup and then asked us «can I take this» when she already put the dirty forks in, why bother asking? Food: expensive, non authentic and mediocre. Had pad thai, tom yum, house fried rice, papaya salad, satay chicken and black sticky rice. None of the dishes left an impression, and it was just whatever. Overall, I would never come back. Expensive food and terrible service. There’s better authentic Thai places in Lynnwood.

Love Thai food and the reason I come here is for their authentic soup(not on the menu). I asked and they obliged. The soup is called the«Boat Soup». They were surprise that I know this because only and only most Thai ppl are familiar with this soup. It’s a delicacy soup. This soup is addictive bcs it has it’s own uniqueness as far as presentation and taste. It’s sour and sweet and super spicy bcs that’s what I ask for all the time. I’ve known this soup since I lived in LA and ate this soup all the time. I love Thai Food! Their other foods are also good. My next fave here is their Pad See Ew(flat noodle, pick my own meat, stir fried with broccoli and carrots) So yummy! Also love their Thai Tea. The servers are nice and fast. It gets pretty crowded during lunch time on the weekdays. I haven’t been here on the weekend. Plenty of parking as well. As good as it gets I suppose.

I would have to say that their green papaya salad was one of the top 5 salads that I have ever had. It had the perfect amount of heat and the portion was very generous. Get some sticky rice and eat it like Thai people do. The spring rolls were nothing special, I would pass on that. I also got the pad ke mao with chicken. That was tasty, but I would definitely try something different next time. What did I learn today? I had no idea that Black Angus steak houses still existed.

Yum. Yum. Yum. My boyfriend and I were seated right away around 2pm on a Tuesday. Lots of seating. The two waitresses were more than friendly and promptly delivered our free vegetable soups, menus and waters. I love free stuff!!! So the soup was a wonderful perk. I also found it pleasing when they brought out an entire pot of rice before our food came out. **also free** The Deep Fried tofu with plum sauce came first. The tofu was nice and crispy on the outside and soft on the inside; perfectly done, I only wish the plum sauce was a bit thicker… still tasty though. The boyfriend ordered the Garlic Beef with the thicker noodles, 2 spicy, and I kept taking tastes of it; DELICIOUS. I ordered the Ginger Chicken, 2 spicy. I don’t think I’ve ever had so much ginger on one plate, but I loved every minute of it!!! I found it was definitely spicier than the Garlic Beef and I would have preferred if the ginger sauce was thicker; a little too watery for my taste, but the seasonings were perfect. We will definitely be back to taste more, especially since the prices are reasonable for the portions they give and it is so close to our house.
