I like this place a lot. $ 1 beers on Sundays. Really good food and super friendly employees.

Fun, kitchy place to listen to some good music on a Thursday night and have a good drink! and some greasy bar food! Have been in to watch a game or too also with friends and the staff and other customers have always been friendly and talkative.

Waldo’s is AWESOME! My group walked from Ka Wan Korean restaurant to watch the Buckeye game. Immediately when we walked into the bar, we found a table and sat down. A waitress who wasn’t even on shift came over and welcomed us. There weren’t any special drinks but she recommended the cinnamon whiskey with warmed cider. A few of us got that while others got beers. They had a number of beer on tap as well including Seattle Cider. Prices were as we expected. One person got 3 drinks under $ 20. The atmosphere was fun and felt welcoming because many were regulars. Our waitress also informed us of the fundraiser for a close friend and local patron. Part of this fundraiser included $ 10 raffle tickets. We were intrigued by the live band and Naughty girl raffle bag. Some of our party bought into the buy 3 raffle tickets for $ 20. To our surprise, we had a good number of drinks and were pleasantly enthusiastic for the raffle. Our table won a pair of homemade Seattle Seahawks koozies with the 12th Man embroidered on it AND a Waldo’s Growler filled with our beer/cider of choice. Of course, we went for the cider. Many customers enjoyed the live music and some were dancing. There was an outdoor patio but it was too cold to sit outside. Great area to take a break for a smoke. The bathrooms were decent although the doors did not lock. So you had to yell whenever another person came in to ensure they didn’t come into your stall. Overall, had a great time. Our raffle high got some of our group convinced to come again.

I work across the street, we decided to give Waldo’s a try for a to-go lunch order. After calling five times and getting no answer on a Saturday afternoon, we figured that they were busy due to the football rush and sent someone over to place the order. Shocked to discover when we walked in that the phone was ringing off the hook and the bartender was just ignoring it, and there were only four people in the place. Food came out quickly, but when we started digging in, we were SOOOO disappointed-the chips in the nachos were stale, the fries tasted like they were a week old, the home made chili was clearly out of a can. Do not recommend.

This is a fun little dirty bar. A great place to hide out on a weekend as I think no one will can tell who you are. The DJ was great and the staff super friendly. It felt very comfortable even though it was kinda dirty. Not a real club but a fun place.

This is a horrible place to visit. Place is dark. Bartenders know nothing. They don’t clean their taps. Disgusting! Owner is selfish and only cares about himself. Wanna give your money away? Stay home instead. This place is a joke!!! Only get one star bc I have to give them something, otherwise it’d be a zero!!!

I decided to hit Grease Monkey for a oil change and while waiting I decided dammit I am hungry. I asked the counter person at Grease Monkey for a suggestion on somewhere good to grab a bite, she suggested Waldo’s and said they have awesome hamburgers. I am so glad I took her advice, this was one of the best burgers I have had in a while. Their menu is straight forward bar grub with very reasonable prices. I just ordered the regular cheeseburger with fries(you have a choice of salad, macaroni or potato salad or fries) All the burgers are half pounders and at $ 6.50 it makes a huge delightful meal. The man in the kitchen did such a good job I went to ask him who delivered his meat because it was just as juicy and tasty as the burger I had at Lunchbox Laboratory in Ballard. He told me he used to own the Waldo’s in Kirkland and bought out his partner a while back and now just owns this one. As for the juicy burger he said after cooking burgers for 20 years he realized most people overcook their and he knows how important a properly cooked burger is to his customers. Why this place isn’t quite as good as good as Lunchbox it was sure a strong second and will have my business again. I hope the other cooks have the same know how the owner does cause nothing beats a great big messy juicy burger with great fries. If you go to Waldo’s North make sure you go HUNGRY!
