The first time I came here for eyebrow threading, I had a good experience. The shop is clean, and fairly inexpensive. I believe it was the shop’s owner who assisted me(first chair, closest to the door), and she was fast, friendly and most-all, she knew what she was doing. Which, really, is all you truly want in the person taking care of your most important feature on your face. The second time I came, which was today, the service left MUCH to be desired. Unfortunately, the shop’s owner was assisting someone else, so I sat in the lady’s chair next to her. The first thing the lady asked me was, «Do you want your brows cleaned up?» It seemed like a harmless question, and maybe she was just making small talk, but that should have been my first indication to run.(Of course I want my brows cleaned up, that’s why I’m sitting in the chair. I want you to make them look nice.) She got to work on my brows, and what transpired after that was a hot mess. I’ve never in my life had so much pain from threading(and I’ve gone at least once a month for the past 5 years!). At one point I asked her to speed it up, because honestly, I just wanted to get out of there. Not only was it very painful, she kept wiping my face over and over with a rag when I had a full-face of makeup on. Not cool, lady, not cool. Bottom line is, this location is close to my work so I will probably be back but I’ve learned my lesson. From now on I’ll stick to the shop’s owner.
