Ray & Wally’s Towing

If I could give them zero stars I would’ve. Charged $ 265 to tow the car approximately 2 miles. Had it surrounded by other cars so you couldn’t see any of it. Pretty much told us we couldn’t leave it there again, even though it had only been there overnight. Very rude gentlemen at the shop. Stans towing charged us $ 100 to go from St John, In to Lynwood, pick up the car and tow it back to Schererville, In. I will never recommend this place to anyone.

By far the worst customer service, Called to ask about used batteries and was greeted on the phone with a rude «What do you want». I had to pause a second to realize what just happened and how I was being talked to. The man on the phone continued to be extremely rude, so I just hanged up after I had enough. Now since I really did need a used battery I actually went to the location in hopes of better service but was not surprised when I was in front of the same extremely rude man that answered my phone call earlier. He was completely unwelcoming and had an a attitude for everything. He would shake his head and groan to any simple question asked and kept saying to figure it out on my own because he could not leave his office. I left because once again I could not believe the service I was receiving, and as I was leaving I see that same man walk outside his office after just telling me he could not leave his office to help me. I can not review this business on their towing and repairs because I was just looking for a used battery but the customer service speaks enough for itself. I’m surprise they are even open and running with horrible service like that.

Worst place of service ever! Extremely slow service. Not up to date with anything. Rude people. Only had to come here bc the state of Illinois got to call the tow company. Also they gave us no receipt so we can send it to the insurance.

I have used this company several time for personal reasons. The drivers were clean the trucks were clean. The drivers seem to know how to properly secure my vehicle so no damage is done. They gave me a ride back to the place of business so I was not left on the side of the road. I would recommend them to anyone that has something unfortunate happen to their vehicle.
