DONOTEATHERE! I ordered a cemita poblana, a burrito & pupusas, they didn’t give us the sauce or curtido. I Had to go up and ask for it, I asked the young man & he finally gave it to me while the girl rolled her eyes at me. This is my SECOND time eating here. Don’t waste your time or money! Unless they fire the horrible cooks, cashier and are managed by a manager who actually knows how to run a decent restaurant!

First time eating here with my boyfriend and we loved it! My boyfriend had their tacos(carnitas, Assad and chicken) and I had the the quesadilla asada poblano. The food was flavorful and they weren’t skimpy on the meat. We left with happy stomachs and would go back again!

I started eating here in 2008 when I worked at the Plaza Mexico. I never liked pupusas but my co-workers convinced me to try it. I have tried many(and I mean many) and I’ve never found a better pupusa than what is served here, and they are mighty big, they take up a whole styrofoam plate. It doesn’t stop at the pupusas however; their tacos are good, their tortas are also, oh and let me tell you about their quesadillas! Everything I have tried here has been great. Their green salsa is pretty legit! Haha it’s a little hole in the wall but it’s great food. It’s the only place I’d eat here on the plaza. After that I hit up the homemade ice cream paletas down stairs. You must try it.

If you are hungry and want great food, come here and try the popusas, papa tacos, and asada tacos with home made tortillas. My boyfriend and I come here a lot because the food tastes great and homemade.

There are lots of yummy choices @ Plaza Mexico to eat at. I remembered this cornered restaurant in the 2nd floor that served awesome pambazos but when I got there sadly it was closed. It was replaced by this place and I decided to give it a try since the smells coming out of there were irresistible and I’m a mole lover. I had the Semita torta de milanesa & mole enchiladas which I was not disappointed in and I intend go go back and try other items on their menu. They don’t have any seating inside, they basically share outside seating with the rest of the restaurants around(mall style) but it’s under a roof so it’s safe from the elements.

If you haven’t made your way to Plaza Mexico… do it early and do it on the weekend. Parking gets insane, and the people are very irritable. This little spot is located upstairs in the outer part of the mall. Considering that I am Poblana, I approve. The food is very nicely made and its as close as authentic Mexican regional food can be. I haven’t tried the mole yet but the semita de milanesa and quesadilla de flor de calabaza are so very good. The salsa is nice and spicy and the curtido(for the pupusas) is very nice and pickled.
