Went in for something simple. I was greeted by Fernando who was a great help. Wound up with an early upgrade and great deals. Would definitely tell every one to go to this store for their needs. Thanks your great service.

I went to get an upgrade on my iPhone 5 to upgrade to the iPhone 6s. My rep was amazing! Not only did he inform me on the iPhone, but he also gave me a lot of insight on my plan and on savings. He also broke down all the different payment options and Verizon services to my specific needs. The location is very clean and modern. The other reps also made me feel very welcomed, which I appreciate because I’ve gone to other stores where they just want you in and out. The store management even gave me water. I totally recommend coming to this Verizon if you want honesty!!!

I’ve been having problems with my iPhone for a while so I decided since I’m on the edge program with Verizon I would just go and get a new phone. WRONG when I signed up last January I was NEVER informed that 75% of the phone had to be paid off. I was told you could go in at any time and upgrade. False advertising at its finest. Now back to the store, I went in to ask for my upgrade and I was told I couldn’t. At this point I was very upset. The sales person starts looking on his little pad and and say what going on with your account it’s all messed up. I explained to him that I had fraud on my account. But it was taken care of. He never once offered to help me sort through the account he just said he could talk to his manager and see what she could do.
After sitting there for about 15 minutes he comes over and says that all they can do is give me a «manager courtesy upgrade» but I had to pay the taxes. I said no that’s not what I signed up for. I asked to speak to the manager and he says «why she’s going to tell you the same thing I just did» I asked again for i could speak to her he again said no and besides she helping a customer right now. WTF I’m a customer too. I was willing to wait all I wanted was to get my account in order. This place sucks. And Verizon lies. They just want to take your money.

Just came with my son trying to get his phone, there were two guys working with a single client. We waited for 5 minutes with out so much as a greeting. I love the Lakewood store.

On May 5^th 2015 I decided to visit this store to purchase 3 phones and was duped, I was greeted at the door by an ass-​ociate named (mario) proceeded to inform him of the nature of my visit and showed him the 3 phones that I wanted to purchase on the Verizon edge plan.
The ass-​ociate (mario) and I sat in a booth and he proceeds to run a credit check to see if I qualified for the financing, and I was informed that I did qualify for the phones and 2 were in stock, but one of the phones that I wanted was on backorder and would be delivered to my home,
So (mario) began to ring up the 2 phones on his tablet, and what do u know, after I paid for the 2 phones he informs me that my limit wasn’t enough to get the 3^rd phone on the edge program, wtf. Then he tells me that it doesn’t show the financing limit until you pay (where do they Do that at?). So I tell him to cancel the whole thing and (mario) says that there is a $ 70 Restocking fee, I tell him that I’m not paying that, he goes and gets his manager and she settles the situation, that’s day (1)
2 days later I decide to go back and trade in 2 phones and pay for a discount on the 3^rd phone and pay the difference. Once again I’m greeted by the ass-​ociate (mario) who looks at the 2 trade in phones and gives me a quote, I accept it and pay for the difference, get home later and noticed that The ass-​ociate (mario) had ordered the wrong phone and overcharged me. Day (2)
Now I am pissed and have to go back for the 3^rd time. I arrive at the store looking for a manager and inform her of the ass-​ociates mistake and she begins to work on it, meanwhile (mario) is there probably duping another customer, the entire time that I was there he completely avoided me like a coward, a real man would have said «hey bro my bad, but we are going to fix it for you. So the woman manager fixed it and I left the store feeling mislead from day 1. Came home and called corporate and filed a complaint
If you are near this store and want to get anything from Verizon, go online or call the sales department. But most definitely stay away from this store and the ass-​ociate (mario)
WARNING WARNING WARNING WARNING!

I’ve been stuck with a flip phone for months and I just got informed of an upgrade in my plan! I was so excited to go over to this verizon store so that they may inform me of my options in plans with a smart phone, at long last! But something felt a bit off at the moment I entered this store. I felt a very dim and cranky vibe emitting from everyone in there, customers AND employees.
I’m assuming it’s part of their task to approach every single person who walks in to get them signed up to speak with an associate, which is what a tall man with glasses did. Though I found this proceedure very helpful, I did not feel that this man delivered a comforting vibe in doing it. He spoke to me in a low and unenthusiastic tone, and my eyes seemed to have repelled his because not once did he attempt to make eye-​contact. He left it up to me to seek an appropriate question rather than helping me find it, and even his answers were blunt and unexplained. «Ok.» I thought, having hope that my experience will not be ruined, seeing that I was given the impression that I was becoming «one of those customers» to them. I await my turn to speak with one of the associates behind the counter and soon enough, I hear my name get called out in a monotonous tone… here we go again.
His name was JUNIOR and he was probably the most unenthused of them all! I knew I was in for a sluggish discussion because he provided all of the signs of the employee who is constantly thinking «I would rather be home.» He seemed tired, and he didn’t even atempt to be polite or smile or maintain his voice at a reasonable volume. He had «get me fired, please» written all over him. Ok, enough about that!
It most definitely is not a good thing to have your customer feel bad about asking a question, which is the way that this guy made me feel. I felt every single word coming out of my mouth was slapping his cheeks because he made very little eye contact. Even to my good friend, who stepped in to help me ask the appropriate questions, he was being a blunt slug in discussion with minimal eye contact. He handed me a paper which mapped out the many different verizon plans in a very easy way. He didn’t find it necessary to overlook it with me or walk me through it. Though it was simple enough to figure out yourself, I believe it to be courteous to have helped me through it initially. But this is Junior we’re talking about here, so of COURSE he didn’t. I took a moment to study this paper and I found that it did a much better job at providing answers than he did. And because he never inqured any further about what decision I was going to make, I chose to dismiss myself from the laziness of this poor employee and rather than going home with answers to help me decide a plan, I went home with more confusion and doubt about even wanting verizon any more.
I’ve experienced customer service, and in a more fast paced environment, and believe me, I’ve had my share of annoying and bratty customers over at Tierra Mia. But I always made sure to maintain politeness, willingness to help, and professional work ethics. Since Junior was not able to meet these qualities, and because I know how easy it can be to do so, I am rating my experience with a measly 1 star. This guy made this verizon store say «keep away» with his poor deliverance and lack of… well everything! If you don’t want to work there then just leave dude, if you’re too lazy to look for another job, then someone get him fired. That should force you to do so. This is a job where people are going to ask you about cell phones and plans, nothing more… nothing less. If you can’t do that, then you should give up your position to someone else who can.

I hate dealing with my cell provider. Honestly, beat me about my face and chest wtih a wild mountain lion because I refuse to deal with Verizon… One day I go into a verizon wireless, in Lynwood; I was scared for my life because of the area but I went and had a great experience.
The manager, I think his name was Ricky or Ricardo… Anyway, the guy actually took the time to hook me up and take care of some billing issues on my account. He was the only one that would listen to what was going on with my account and actually helped. Kind of a weird dude, though.
This is a good spot, in my opinion.
