Company came recommended by Lumber Liquidators, so we didn’t think to question it. But, we were so disappointed in the outcome of our flooring project. It was not cheap, either! What we didn’t appreciate: — «over-promising» and«under-delivereing» on several items: — Contracted to Screen our floors and apply polyurethane. When he came to look at the floors initially and give us a quote, he said that the spots that were worn and missing the original poly coat would be fixed with the sreening and new coat of poly. They were definitely not fixed and in most places, look worse. This was the biggest reason behind spending $ 1100 to do this to our floors in the first place. Stain was on baseboards all around the room by the end of it. Not a huge deal, since we had planned to paint them anyway, but when we went to tape off the floors, some of the poly came up with the tape! Was also contracted to stain and install wood treads(14 of them) and white risers on the stairs that were previously carpeted. We paid $ 1500 for this job and it was so not worth it. He «didn’t notice» until the treads were installed that they were not tall enough for the white trim up the sides and thus leaving a small triangle opening on the sides of nearly every stair. He tried to fix the problem with spackle, however there was nothing for it to stick to and when we painted the trim, the spackle fell in to the holes. Yes, we have stain all over the trim on the stair-well to paint also. The stain on the stairs didn’t match the rest of the wood flooring as well as we were told it would. No trim painting or quarter round install was included in the price. Overall, we feel like Triple H Flooring undelivered for what we were charged and we would not recommend this business to others.
