Dollar General Store

In todays economic times Dollar General has become one of my favorite places to shop, not for everything but for alot! The prices are pretty reasonable but you need to be a smart shopper and compare pricing. What I like the most is the brand named items which usually cost quite a bit more in alternative stores. Dollar General can pretty much compete with Walmart, but lately I have noticed some slight price increases like on Lays potato chips. Unlike Dollar Tree, brand names is the key to why I like it here so much. The ladies at this location have been working there for awhile and are friendly and helpful. Recently most of the Dollar Generals have had a facelift so the stores are looking much nicer, cleaner and more organized. One of the best values there are the seasonal/​holiday greeting cards… they’re usually a dollar or two for a dollar, the selection is great and the cards are quality. Vitamins are also a good value at Dollar General… I recommend if you’re on a budget like me, add them to your shopping stops.

This is your average Dollar General Store. The store is kind of a mess and you have to dig around to get to what you want in a few sections, but overall, it’s not that bad. If you’re in Mableton, Ga, then you should go to this store and shop if you’re intending on going to a DG, anyway.
