Kmart

Cant even ship items out. One was supposed the be delivered 3 days ago and has yet to be shipped. Workers here are lying to me saying they did ship the items, but UPS says impossible. Not once received an apology just excuses and justification. Incompetence at its finest.

I made a reservation online with a pickup and pay for the store. I got there and was standing around for 20 minutes waiting for my washing machine to be brought to the front of the store. It never showed so I left. 25 minutes later I get a call telling my washing machine was at the service desk ready for me if I still wanted it. I told them NO. Perhaps the management needs to manage their employees better. There is no excuse you can give me for me having to wait to the point of leaving. I’ll be shopping Home Depot for my appliance needs from here on out. At least they offer free delivery.

The employees at this Kmart are the most conscientious customer service oriented employees I’ve ever met outside of Manhattan. I stopped there today and saw they had a buy one get another for $ 1 (althletic shoes). A female employee emulated what I call excellent customer service when I couldn’t find my size in a specific sneaker. She did what every Manhattan retail employee knows to DO for a customer; it’s called: «Help» ~ and yes ladies and gentlemen; boys and girls, «help» is an action verb, which means you physically DO something to help YOUR customer.
She went to check what was available in the back room (returned quickly with a pair). A while later I found another pair I liked and sure enough she went back again to check. Every time I shop here employees model how to treat a customer, never fails!
When checking out at the registers, the long-​time-​employeed cashiers are always so pleasant and genuinely cheerful.
The sale going this week I found pretty summer dresses 30% off which I’m going back for tomorrow (I had no time today to try anything else on).

I usually don’t frequent Kmart but had been looking for a toy for my daughters birthday and they just happen to have it. Kmart saves the day!!!

I don’t live around this area or shop at this k-​mart frequently.
I got lost at first and I called asking for an address but the woman I spoke to spoke so quickly and when I asked her to repeat there was no difference.
I used there «mygofer» where you buy online and do a store pick up. It took FOREVER. It would of been much faster for me to go find it and purchase it. They have safe boxes in the front of the store for the orders and they are locked up. The problem is that they couldn’t find the key. The lady I spoke to called someone about it but it took forever for someone to come and figure it out. They say someone must of taken it home by mistake. Once someone had their full attention on assisting me it was fast and simple. But they did apologize for how long it took. I guess they weren’t use to the system just yet.
I didn’t have time to walk around but the store looks nice and large.

I went to this KMart the day before Christmas. Yes, there were lots of people and no shopping carts, but that did not stop the employees from having a jolly attitude. That is the kind of experience I need when I’m shopping. I will be back!

I mean what can you say? Its K-​mart. Which in most peoples mind means cheap stuff. But I say NOT… more like the same stuff they have at Target and Wal-​mart and just about the same price points.
This is a large K-​Mart but it doesn’t have a grocery store, so I wouldn’t call it a Super K-​Mart, but a really large K-​Mart with an really nice electronics department.
K-​Mart still has layaway folks… and its a really simple one… You put a small service fee down (well, $ 5 fee and 10% of your purchase balance) and then you get several days to pay it off. It depends on your purchase price the number of days you will get. If you don’t pay off the layaway you get all of you monies back except for a $ 10 cancellation fee.
While they are not plentiful in our metro area, it still K-​Mart and they still get the job done for most things related to your household.
Somehow, either Sears acquired K-​mart or vice versa, but you can also purchase/​layaway Kenmore appliances at this location.
I went in mid-​day and there weren’t 10 people in all of the whole store, it was dimly lit, so I guess they were cutting cost cause people aren’t shopping at Kmart.

Contrary to what you think, they do exist in the metro area. I went to Super Kmart in Mableton today just to compare pet supplies, bath and bedding. They have quite the selection. It’s an alternative to Wal-​Mart and Target for roughly the same price. Just in case you were unaware, there are about 10 in the area. Go to
