The five most horrible words you’ll ever hear — «your sewer pipe is broken». sigh. But we came to grips with it and called Mr Rooter for an estimate. They were prompt — came out on a Sunday and used the camera to figure out where the break was. Trouble is. that’s not where the break was. Thank goodness we got a few more estimates — the third company we called was able to find the break and it was on the other side of the basement. It was a good thing we hadn’t let Mr Rooter start breaking up the concrete that same day.

If you want to piss away your valuable time, money, and patience then try using Mr. Rooter.
Situation: Drain pipe had a soft blockage between the house and the septic tank.
Action (or lack thereof): The appointment was set up for a camera inspection. Emilee, the technician wouldn’t do his job. He did not snake the drain nor did he use the camera to visually confirm what was causing the blockage.
Emilee took a quick look at the clean out which was overflowing and then under the septic lid which had 8″ of space between the top of the lid and the water and told me that I needed a septic company to come out to fix the problem. The tank was pumped about 5 months ago. There was nothing wrong with the septic tank or the drain field.
Once he left, I called Bollinger sanitation & excavating and they advised me to get a visual confirmation from a camera snake and they recommended Clog-​Busters. About 20 minutes after Emilee had left I called Mr. Rooter back to see if a technician could come out and the dispatcher confirmed that Emilee was on another job and they he’d be over as soon as he was finished. I waited for hours, no call, no show.
So, I called to schedule another service and they dispatched Emilee to finish the job. A few days had gone by and still nothing.
I scheduled another service to see if ANY technician could come out and do their job. I get a call from Granny (The Beverly HillBillies) the next morning and she said that Emilee and the manager spoke about the job and they stand behind the Emilee’s assessment. Remember, he advised that I get a septic company to come out and fix things.
Solution: I called Clog Busters they ran a snake through the clean out and removed the blockage which was about 28 feet down the pipe. Even though they were more expensive than Mr. Rooter, the service was prompt and the blockage problem has finally been resolved.
Conclusion: The next time I encounter a situation like this, I will rent a 50 foot electric snake from Home Depot for $ 60.

My parents needed the drain snaked and are tight on cash. I saw the commercial for $ 99 on Fox 2 news for this deal and told me Mom. Bad Idea. Huge scam artist. The guy walks in the door and starts talking about additional fees. Funny, how when we booked the appointment they never mentioned this. Typical bait and switch, scam artist crap. Guy starts talking about replacing entire drain pipes in the basement etc. We got him to leave because he was talking crazy. Lucky that he did not charge us. Likely because we were pissed at his business tactics. Called a reputable Royal Plumber who has been around for years. They snaked the drain… it was a more complicated «snaking» if you will, but for an honest price. Stay away from this place.

Horrible company! The plumbers here are extremely rude and do not know what they are talking about. I know more about plumber than the plumber that was sent to my house. I would avoid this company at all cost
