For the price and convenience, I find this place to be pretty good. The service is always fantastic! That’s uncommon when not working for tips. I find that to stand out the most amongst all the factors. They are very clean and friendly and prompt. The food is good for the price and convenience due to its location and speed. In the area you won’t get carryout quicker unless you want Taco Bell and that’s just disgusting. And for a sit down, you also won’t get any quicker in the area.

I’ve eaten here a few times. The food is good and worth the value. It isn’t outstanding, nor do I expect it to be for the price. It is tasty though. The reason for my review relates to my most recent visit, last week. There were 3 staff members working at the time, and they were all outstanding! They were helpful and genuine and smiling, just a breath of fresh air. Kudos to your staff!

First Time here. Food is good. Chips are a little on the greasy side, but I like the seasoning on them. Got two tacos and went with the pork because everything else, by appearance, looked VERYDRIEDOUT. The pork was swimming in liquid to the point that it was dispensed into a side cup so the liquid could be squeezed from it before inserting it into my taco shell. The seasoning on the meat was a little light for my taste, same for the guac. Some of the tomatoes in the pico had that cut-yesterday texture/look to them. All in all, it wasn’t bad and I can’t say I’d never eat here again, but it’s hard to eat here and not compare it to Qdoba and Chipotle. If the three were side by side by side and I had my choice I’d go to Chipotle first, Qdoba second, Salsarita’s third.

In the world of cuisine, I’d categorize myself as a Mexi-can’t. Sure I love the occasional burrito or hard shell taco. I’m even down for tortilla chips most days of the week, but to eat Mexican food more than once every 2 – 3 months just isn’t in my DNA. Then enters my good friend Aaron Flohr, who reintroduced me to Mexican food. Just as I did with him with Asian cuisine, he steered me towards better Mexican places. We came to find out that one of the things I hated most about Mexican food is refried beans and crappy cheese. The good thing is, Salsarita’s Fresh Cantina uses neither. Well, they may have refried beans, but I didn’t ask. All I know is that they have black beans, and those black beans are a delight. I’ve come to this location quite a bit over the last few months, and the burritos are the bomb yo! I like to stuff mine with pico, steak or pork, rice, cheese, onion and peppers, and corn. That is the perfect mix my friends. I also love to get a corn quesadilla, which is simply corn mix and cheese. Bro… BRO!!! It is SO f’in’ good. And the warm tortilla chips are fresh and delicious. I could get(even more) fat here if I didn’t control myself. Here is why I didn’t give it a 4 or 5 Star Rating. Nearly every time I called my order in before hand, it was incorrect. Salsa missing, no quesadilla, burrito was stuffed with the wrong blend, etc. Between me and my girlfriend calling in orders over the last several months, we’ve probably received a 40 successful order percentage. Not good. Yes, the employees are always apologetic and will give me the correct stuff if I come back up, but I don’t want to drive another 20 – 25 minutes round-trip. I don’t want my other items to get cold to fix the one item f’ed up this time. I just want it done right. They didn’t even offer a credit for next time, which probably would have helped them to double check my order with me before I left to ensure everything was copasetic. While it’s been at least a month since I’ve been back, I will probably be back soon; however, with Qdoba opening fairly close to me in just a few weeks, I may never go back again. How about this? I’ll give them one more chance to get things right, and if not, it’s time for me to explore other options. You know… options that start with a Q.

Mehhh, had the vegitarian nachos. Queso was good, guac tasted bland. Worst part was the chips, they tasted very fried and greasy which I was surprised because the menu says something about their anazing and addictive chips. Prob won’t try this again.

Had lunch here today for the first time and it was fantastic! Service was friendly and helpful! I got the«bowl» filled with brown rice w/pumpkin seeds, black beans, grilled shrimp, pico, medium salsa, red onions, cilantro chopped, salsa verde, corn mix and guacamole! All that was missing was a cold Corona! Will be coming back for sure.

Chicken burrito you choose any toppings you want. it’s quick and inexpensive. 6 $. They have kids meals. They are super fast and decent food for the money.

Love this place! I get the nachos. I like picking the toppings and how everything is so fresh.

Their food just isn’t fresh like Chipotle or Qdoba. At first glance you can tell it has been sitting in the steam table for way too long. This place used to be decent, now it’s horrible.

Like a slightly better version of Qudoba, but not as fresh or flavorful as Chiptole. I had the taco salad, the taco bowl tasted baked, not oily but crisp. The shredded pork was blah, and I felt like everything was $ 1 extra, peppers and onions, guacamole etc. Not a terrible place to get lunch, but I’ll stick with chipotle

I went for my first time the other day. Was super hungry so I got a Rancharito Casarito, and the thing was pretty massive in size. I got steak inside of it with lettuce, onions, cheese and sour cream. Upon first viewing, everything looked uh, how should I put this, stale. I did come in around 8PM, but still. The meat and veggies shouldn’t look this ordinary. The Mexican rice was average at best. I was also disappointed in the rancharito sauce(immediately regretted not getting the queso, which looked much more appetizing) and the fact that there were no green or red peppers. Come on! You’re a Mexican joint with no peppers?! Weak. And as massive as the thing looked and was, it wasn’t THAT much food. I honestly feel more full from Chipotle or Qdoba burritos than I did with the one from Salsarita’s, even though the size and stature favored the latter. The tortilla also wasn’t as great. All I can say is meh. I may come back, may not. Depend really how desperate I am and whether I want to give it another try. They didn’t really leave me much of a choice of whether I should come back or not. I’d go to Chipotle or Qdoba over places like this anytime, which maybe says more about those establishments than it does of how mediocre this place is.

I had a chicken burrito and was very underwhelmed. The rice was undercooked, all the ingredients were cold AND it costs a dollar extra for peppers which are free at chipotle. The plain flavor and generic ingredients(think straight from Sysco foods) reminded me of Mexican night in the dorms. The food was way overpriced for the quality. Bottom line, don’t waste your time eating here. Go to a Chipotle or Qudoba which are both near by.

Not bad. The location isn’t the easiest to get to but it’s visible off the road. As the name would imply the salsas are the highlight and the guac was good. Otherwise I could get a standard burrito bowl here which was good. Staff was very helpful and the interior is nice and modern feeling. Not a ton of options for vegetarians but I do like both types of beans are suitable for vegetarians. I saw this on the website recently which lists allergen information and gluten free and vegetarian and vegan choices( ). It lists the cheese as being vegetarian(so I am glad that there is no rennet). There really should be tofu offerings as some other similar Mexican chain restaurants have implemented tofu as a protein substitute. I’ll try this again for lunch if I’m in the area.

I’ve been enjoying the mexican food from Salsarita’s for a while now. Here’s a quick pros and cons list just to change up my usual review format. Pros: Quesadillas are huge and delicious. Jalapenos that are actually hot! Big variety of food options and combo deals. Enjoyable seating area and décor. Televisions with News and/or Sports. Salsarita’s Points Card. Coke Products(their sodas aren’t over-watered or carbonated) Cons: Parking lot access is funky. Must be coming westbound on Hall road. So anyone coming from the eastbound side, you must loop around Romeo Plank through all the lights and traffic. Or you can sneak in behind from Romeo Plank if you’re coming from the North. Service has changed over time. More weird and/or unpleasant. Coke Products(this reviewer prefers Pepsi) Next door is a hair salon type joint, which can make for accidental weird eye contact. Seating areas can be dirty for a bit too long before being cleaned. Sporadic issue though. Everything has a ton of calories. Check out their Nutritional Info if you dare… I still give this place a good score regardless of it’s cons. The pros outweigh them to me. My girlfriend doesn’t have these where she lives and she loves coming here when she’s out this way. I came here the other night and pretty much experienced all the pros and cons in some fashion… but not the hair salon eye contact. Phew!

As far as build your own burrito places go on the east side, I would consider them rated Burrito Mundo greater than Chipotle greater than Qdoba, and lastly Salsaritas. I dont feel that their burritos are anywhere near as flavorful as the other places, nor the options as plentiful for a veg. Every time we have gotten a burrito from here, it has tasted fairly bland to me.

I love the fact that they have the option of shrimp, unlike Q’doba!!! I would also argue that this place uses fresher ingredients than Q’doba as well and is slightly cheaper. I ordered the shrimp nachos and have to say I really like them. The downside is their nacho chips are much thinner and more brittle than Q’doba. So every time I picked up a nacho that had any topping on it the chip snapped like a twig. It was super annoying because I had to use a fork to eat almost the entire thing. My mother then ordered the two taco combo with steak and a hard shell. She enjoyed her food as well. It’s not as though this place was an original concept or they had anything really unusual here. In my opinion they didn’t serve me anything that made me go «YAY!» or «WHOOHOO!» when I ate it. I do like their food and when I’m in the Partridge Creek area with friends or family this will be one of our food options we will be coming back to.
