I didn’t know this massive, beautiful campground was back here! The lake isn’t huge, but with the walking/​running/​biking trails and boat docks it would make a nice spot to go camping or glamping or whatever you do.
I sometimes visit just for the afternoon to run on the trails, which wind through the forest and along the lake. There are some planks and teeter-​totter type things randomly installed along the way for bikers who want more than just the tricky trail. I have seen a couple small snakes, a lot of squirrels and chipmunks, and poison ivy.
There is a bulletin board with a holder for trail maps, but I can’t recall ever seeing it filled with said maps.
