The Chicken Shawarma sandwich pita is delicious and affordable. I’ve had it multiple times and it is good everytime.

Located just off the square, they offer a tantalizing possibility of delicious Mediterranean food. We couldn’t resist and entered with great expectations. The menu is enormous, which is normally not a sign. They offered everything from Kefta kabob to Philly Cheesesteak. Three of the four of us had the gyro value meal and for a set price we got the sandwich, some fries and a drink. The meat was good and the sandwich came dressed with generous amounts of tomato, onion and tzatziki sauce. It had good flavor, but was a bit on the small side, like you need another quarter to make it what you want. The fries were the frozen style with the coating for flavor. I’m not a fan of those fries. They also seemed to have different serving sizes of fries on each plate — not consistent at all. The boy had chicken tenders. They were not frozen and appeared to be made from thigh meat, which is not what a little kid wants when they bite into a tender. The flavor; however, was good when I tried them out. Overall a decent place and if you have no other choice for Mediterranean, go for it.

Well, where to begin. Congratulations you get the waitress who’s first day is today. So let me tell you wrong info so you order the more expensive meal. But the food finally came. The gyro was piled high with meat, and veggies. The cucumber sauce was exceptional. The fries were the bomb! And to top it off the cook sent out a complimentary baklava with his own cream«cheese» topping. Omg it was magnificent. All in all it was a decent experience. It was cold as heck in the Resturant. But clean and friendly. Give it a shot.

I love Mediterranean food, but this place is horrible. I was curious as to how this place was doing, considering every day I drive by there and no one is inside. Today, I walked in around dinner time and the place was completely empty. I started walking towards the big menu that is displayed on the back wall. However, I was quickly stopped by some worker who told me I had to look at the take out menu by the front door instead. I am not sure why you would pay money for a massive, artistic sign that the customers can’t walk into the restaurant and look at. My guess is that the workers do not want you to see what is behind the kitchen counter(which is stationed below the sign). While I was waiting for my take out order, I heard obvious microwave beeps. When I got home to eat the food, it was such a disappointment. They take obvious short cuts that are so apparent to the customer. The food lacks flavor, and their ingredients are not authentic. It is not worth the money and I will not be going back.

Great food and service! I ordered the grape leaves and my friend ordered the gyro sandwich. Both plates were delicious, good-sized portions, and arrived to our table quickly. I’ll be back again and again!

Order the Gyro plate with Jerusalem salad. The meat was spiced perfectly and the cucumber sauce is excellent. These aren’t frozen and reheated Gyros. They are handmade. The vegetarian plates are also excellent. I was a little leery of Mediterranean food, but I will be coming back at least once a week.

Now I differ with several other reviewers. The restaurant was CLEAN to a fault. Restrooms were spotless. My server Chelsi(sp) was just about as helpful and sweet as can be. My food was hot, and delicious. I really hope this place succeeds because the town needs some different choices.

Ordered the gyro plate that comes with fries and Jerusalem salad. Gyro meat and pita was cold. I also didn’t like that they put the tomato, onion, and sauce on the gyro. I prefer doing that myself. NOTENOUGH sauce and the vegetables tasted/looked like they were old. The Jerusalem salad was soaking my already cold pita which REALLY annoyed me. The salad had no flavor and again the vegetables looked old. Almost like they made it the day before, didn’t sell it, kept it, and then served it to me the next day. No thanks. My husband got the kefta kabob sandwich. Didn’t even look like a sandwich. No toppings or anything and Again cold. He ordered the Jerusalem salad as well and what a waste of $ 3.99. I gave 3 stars because the flavors of the gyro meat and kefta kabobs was good, but just cold! I will try one more time because they are new and trying. Just don’t order the Jerusalem salad, ask for everything on the side, especially if you do order the gyro plate because it will soak your pita.

The anticipation of waiting for this place to open was almost unbearable. I love Mediterranean food, especially chicken schwarma and hummus! My high hopes were crushed. My chicken had very little flavor, if any. Do they know how to season schwarma? Our server had zero personality and was just blah as ever; not even a little smile. It was dead when we went, and our food still took forever. Not a good place for a quick lunch. They just opened; maybe it’ll get better. Doubt I will be back for another try though.

Did not have several of basic condiments. Did not have items on their menu. Slow. Food not very good. I like to support local businesses but in this case will not go back

I SO want this place to succeed because we need new restaurants here, but if they continue to do business the way they did this evening, they won’t. When you order a vegetarian plate that boasts stuffed grapes leaves and tabbouli but find they are out of both items, you’re left with two dips and a tomato salsa. And French fries you never wanted. As I was waiting for my carry-out a woman came in and ordered lentil soup. She was told they won’t have lentil soup for a month because they don’t have the ingredients. These are not magical ingredients — I believe they can be purchased at any local grocery store in Macomb. Then she asked for tabbouli. Again — nope. They don’t have tabbouli. So I said«there is supposed to be tabbouli in my vegetarian plate.» She replied«Oh, we’ll give you cole slaw instead». Cold comfort that because I ordered the Veg plate for both the tabbouli and the grapes leaves which, as I stated, were glaringly absent. This whole debacle occurred after I called the number on the carry out menu four times within an hour with no answer. I finally called the number on FB where I was told that despite what the menu said, they aren’t delivering. None of this bodes well for a restaurant that has for over a year been unable to open. As I said, I want them to succeed — if they can get their act together they will be a boon to our small town. But as it stands. I won’t be back until I hear reports that they serve what they advertise and work out the kinks that others have mentioned. How disappointing.

The first time I ate here I enjoyed it, but today I was not as impressed. I got the falafel sandwich and the Jerusalem salad. They were both under seasoned, especially the salad. It needed more acid. My friend got the gyro and said the yogurt sauce on it tasted just like a spoon full of plain yogurt.
