Cheap beer, bar food, nothing fancy. Exactly what I was looking for! No need to dress up; this isn’t a meat market. If you’re just looking for a beer and a place to unwind while drinking it, this is the place.

The Waldenburg Bar is a small bar that we have performed reconnaissance missions at numerous times. If we had to think of a true dive bar this is the bar that comes to mind. What I mean by this is smoking inside, old school jukebox, and darts.
The Heartbreak Kid ordered the mushroom and swiss buger, loaded with lettuce, tomato, and grilled onions.

The great thing about these burgers is Waldenburg bar gets there meet fresh every week from a local butcher. If you are looking for a dive with a greet bar staff (Vicki) this is the place to go.

Anyone going to the Waldenburg and expecting «décor» is missing the point completely.
The Waldenburg is a neighborhood dive bar in the best sense of the phrase. The beer is cold, the burgers are outstanding and the people friendly.
If you want décor, go to a chain establishment at the nearby mall or Royal Oak. If you just want to have a beer with your friends, you can’t beat the Waldenburg.
