Been eating at Anderson’s for years over multiple locations and have never been let down. Best«soul food/country cooking» in Macon in my opinion. I almost always get the fried pork-chops which are huge and juicy. The turkey legs are good as is the fried chicken. Collard greens and mac and cheese are amazing and I always find it hard to choose any other options other than those. The sweat tea and lemonade are both sugary and delicious. They have dessert options everyday too. The do not have any drink options other than the a fore mentioned tea, lemonade as well as water.

Anderson’s Diner is a place that people usually go after church on Sunday’s, If you do plan to go there on a Sunday after church, make sure you have a little patience because the line will be long but honestly it’s totally worth it. So far its some of the best soul food I’ve had in the Macon Area. They treat you like family and you actually feel like family there. The menu includes items such as fried chicken, Mac & Cheese, Yams, Lima Beans and more. It’s a place you have to try for yourself to understand. They also have the most delicious lemonade I’ve had in the area. Also a quick tip, if you do go there on a Sunday after church and you take your church program they will give you a percentage off of your order!
