Stopped here due to a quick online sale and being exhausted from a long day on the road. Honestly, kind of wish I’d held out a little longer and went elsewhere. Kind of a seedy vibe around the place, and the room was not too great. I don’t expect a four star experience for $ 50 – 60 bucks, but no working ice machine except the office, a bathroom door that sticks tight, a toilet seat that is marginally functional, the bed being very hard and supported by a frame of unfinished lumber, and lukewarm showers, well… it leaves much to be desired. It gets the job done on a budget or a pinch, but I think ones cash could be better spent elsewhere.

Nice for the price which was $ 50. Claire was on the front desk. She was friendly, cheerful and helpful(: Our room was clean and neat. The shower worked fine with plenty of hot water. There was a microwave and frig which were both clean and working. To be honest the room needed updating, but again nice for the price(; Restaurants were close as well as gas. We’ll be back !!

Good for the money(I bargained for price) Clean room, clean linen. Breakfast is a big NO. So get breakfast somewhere else. Overall Good

Unfortunately I only got around to reading the previous reviews as I was laying in bed at the Days Inn Macon North. Luckily, my experience wasn’t as miserable and scary as others have reported. Though this place is definitely a no-frills-just-basics type of hotel, I didn’t really expect a luxurious stay at a Days Inn. I have been to nicer Days Inn, but honestly, this one basically fulfilled what I had intended on receiving: a clean bed, safe-ish surroundings, and free breakfast.

I reached out to corporate and management about the horrible experience. Here’s the response. «On behalf of the Days Inn Macon North I wanted to appologize to you for your unhappy experience you encountered while staying here with us on July 28, 2011. Please be assured that this is not our normal policy and I have spoken with our housekeeping department about the unclean room you were originally checked into upon arrival. I have also spoken to my night auditor and he informed me that he personnally walked with you to two seperate rooms to ensure your approval. I understand your concern about the temperature of the room upon arrival however we do not leave our units on when they are unoccupied. It usually only takes just a few minutes to cool the room once it has been turned on.» So, «personnally» walking me to two«seperate» rooms is enough to make fix the situation? I’d been happier if she had just written, «Sorry for your horrific experience. I am so embarrassed as someone who cares for this property. Rest assured, this will not happen to another consumer. Next time you’re visiting, enjoy this $ 10 discount on us.» Even without a discount, just say… we screwed up.
