This used to be a great store that one could truly call a neighborhood store. That’s when Miss Sabrina was the manager. That and a few other employees who knew you by name and might joke or were nice. Then the store was clean, the employees were helpful and while it wasn’t as cheap as Walmart, the sense that this store belonged in this neighborhood was more than enough to stop and shop here. Now Miss Sabrina is gone. I hear she went to Warner Robins, who knows? Now the manager is unknown. He may be the white guy that just kind of wanders around. Most of the other employees that made this store what it was are gone, making this a generic«oh, I forgot something» on the way home stop. I’m not going to call this story dirty, I’m going to call it down right filthy! Dirt, gum, unknown stains adorn the floor. Aisles are littered with trash, empty boxes, filled boxes and you never know where those employees are likely hiding. One thing I’ll give them, they’ve already decorated for Halloween in July from the look of the cobwebs hanging from the ceiling. This store has gone way down hill. Although I generally prefer Dollar over Family Dollar, that competition up the road has new employees that make stopping in there more friendly and not a bother for those employees to ring up your sale, as it was often the case in the past. Bring back Miss Sabria or start treating the local customers like repeat business, if you(dollar general store) want to stay in business.
