Service was so slow. It took 30 minutes from the time we sat until we got our food. My salad was very good, the chowder was just ok. My husbands fries were soft and soggy. He said his sandwich was pretty good though, but it wasn’t enough food. All in all a little disappointed.

These guys do a great job with lunch sandwiches and southern lunch specials. I highly recommend the blackened chicken sandwich. I wish they were open in the evenings.

Very cute and funky downtown café with large ceiling to floor windows to people watch. Only open for 4 hours(10:30−2:30) but it’s worth it for the great food and atmosphere!

Molly’s Café is a pretty darn cool place to eat! The front half of the restaurant is very froufrou and frilly with doilies and bunnies everywhere. It’s quite adorable actually and I like rabbits so I’m a fan. But since I’m a guy, I go to the back of the restaurant, where it looks like I’ve stepped into a 50’s era diner! It’s really great! There are two different menus but you can order from either. The chili cheese dog is humongous! The Brunswick Stew when they have it is out of this world! But far and away my favorite menu item is the Monte Gristo. It’s served on French toast! Absolutely delicious and reasonably priced, Molly’s is great for lunch with friends or high tea with ladies!

For a place that mainly caters to a downtown lunch crowd you might expect the menu to be pretty simple. Not so! Lots of dishes and a busy place, which speaks well for the food. Had the monte cristo, which came with a raspberry dip, and it was excellent. Fries were nicely soft and not crispy. Our server didn’t really know the details of the menu so couldn’t answer questions but he was new or a sub. My only issue. Molly is friendly, chatty and cheerful. She ran the cash register. She knows good food and this is worth a visit. One of the very best in downtown Macon for lunch.

Sweet place. Good, easy atmosphere. Food flavorful and well prepared. Wait staff nice and knowledgable. Clean. Good music. We are here from out of town. Love to frequent local establishments. This was a good choice.

Nice place for lunch. Very large menu selection. Had the burger and also the chicken salad. The burger was nothing special but the chicken salad was excellent! Dinning area is unique casual. Nice folks and had great service.

Went here for lunch and it was excellent. We were seated immediately, despite them being pretty full when we walked in. Staff was polite and attentive, and the restaurant as a whole felt home-y. A coworker has come in a few times(and tried a couple of things on the menu) and said everything he’d had was good. I had the smoked turkey wrap and fries and it was delicious. I was too full to try one of the tempting desserts that kept being brought by. Recommended.

Didn’t get to try the food. A coworker and I tried to have lunch today but we were completely ignored. Several of the waitstaff walked past us as we were standing, waiting for someone to seat us, but no one even awknowledged our presence. I tried standing at the front counter where the register was located… no go. I told my co-worker we would stand there just looking around for a minute more before leaving, which we did. We were never helped or even noticed. I’ll never try to eat here again. Waitstaff FAIL.

Molly’s was recommended by the terrific young man at the Visitor Center. The Café was named in honor of hometown celebrity Little Richard who used to sing locally at various places around town. The décor is described by the owner as «shabby chic» I call it inviting. The staff was incredibly welcoming and friendly – special thanks to Steven for taking great care of us! Best of all the menu is enticing and the food is delicious! This is definitely the right place to eat in Macon!

Stumbled here on accident. I was looking for sushi and Lemongrass had closed at 2pm. I saw the little chalk board outside as I was wondering around and decided to pop in. The décor is adorable and chic. The service was prompt and extremely polite. I decided on the BLT special and was surprised to learn that my drink and the homemade potato chips were included with the low price. The BLT was large but delicious. The bacon was crisp, the tomatoes ripe and fresh, not too much mayo, and crunchy lettuce. I was fortunate enough to get in before they closed(well I think I walked in after 2:30) but they didn’t treat me as such. *Had I known they closed at 2:30 I wouldn’t have stopped in) Definitely should take the time to stop in for a nice lunch or even breakfast because they are serving breakfast now.
