Just remember that you get what you pay for. I’ve been here a handful of times but more so recently when I have come into town to visit my parents. On my most recent visit, the nail tech felt it was acceptable to take calls on her personal phone while doing my nails. When not on the phone, she was enthralled in conversation with her coworkers in their native language. After about the third time of being on the phone and pressing my nail with the cuticle clipper roughly, I asked her to not take calls while doing my nails. She became so confused and ran over to the owner to give him her phone. The owner was getting his haircut by another nail technician and he screamed in English«It’s your husband answer your phone you can talk to your husband!» This was proceeded by angry banter in their native language. Very uncomfortable situation. I’m a paying customer and deserve undivided attention. She should not be taking personal calls while on my dime. Also I think it’s very unfriendly to be converting the ENTIRE time in non-English. It makes for an unwelcoming environment. Also wanted to add that the visit before this I had a pedicure which lasted all of about 20 minutes. All of the equipment which was used appeared dirty and nothing was sanitized or clean. She barely scrubbed the dead skin on my feet. Cuticle lotion is just regular lavender lotion. They must be in a budget. Like I said, you get what you pay for!

Had a pedicure — it wasn’t the best but it wasn’t the worst I’ve had — adequate. Will try them for a manicure in the future.

Went in for a pedicure because my heels were dry and cracking. They had me pick my color and let me soak for about 10 – 15 minutes. My lady added something to the soak and used a pumice stone. Afterwards she worked on cleaning my cuticles and shaped my toes nails nicely! Afterwards she added 2 kinds of lotions and gave me a small massage. She then added the polish and I sat under the UV for 2 cycles. They are all Vietnamese and have come from Vietnam. Some are better at English than others. I am a Vietnamese-American with limited speaking skills but I can understand most of what they were saying. They never really talked much about the clients but instead talked to each other with some small talk, prices, and who does what. Most of the clients seemed a bit uncomfortable by this. But if you’re talkative they’ll try their best to respond. Basically they never learned any English. If they seem curt then it’s because they don’t know all the proper expressions. Overall the service was fast done in about 50 minutes. The ladies were nice and had good intentions. And my feet are now smooth and my nails look great! Also they did seem to have a lot of regulars, who also don’t happen to be angry Unilocalers :) Btw they have a machine that autoclaves/sanitize the equipment.

I have been going to Lily nails for several years. Tommy always does a professional job on my nails(I get pink gel and color), the manicure lasts for weeks and the pedi’s have been great. I have no complaints. They are all professional, never a problem! I have a tendency to abuse my nails with gardening and have never broken one. I love the gel. I keep going back with total confidence! M in Macungie

If you are looking for a 15 minute pedicure, then this place is it! Worse pedicure ever! Foot soak in plain cold water, no scrub or massage or cuticle removal. My polish started to chip the next day. Will never go here again!

DONOTGOTOTHISPLACE! A friend had a gel manicure here which came off in 3 hours! She called and spoke to them. They would only do something if she came back immediately. She explained she could not do that because of her children and it already being late. They refused to do anything about fixing her manicure or refunding her money!

There is no such thing as gel powder. Think about it! This salon is charging almost $ 15.00 more for a top clear coat of polish because they place your hands under a blue UV light. Don’t fall for it! They also have a spa pedicure for about $ 20 more than the regular pedicure. Admittingly, I came on for a spa pedicure about a half hour before closing time. They were quick to accept my money for this«extravagant» service but were even quicker to finish. The complete pedicure took 20 minutes including the initial presoak time. My heels were just as cracked as they were before I went in. I came back to speak to Tommy, the mgr. He did offer too have someone else fix my heels but also explained that heels will always be cracked regardless of how much the tech work on it.(Disagree. Invest in a jar of blue goo. My heels never looked so good)! Never again. This place scams!

When i’m home i go here. I love everyone who works here. They are so nice and they do a great job. I’ve been going to Lily’s for over 10 yrs. now =) if you are worried about the tools have no fear! Their tools are always new and the prices are great too. I mostly get pedicures. Regular is $ 30 and a french is $ 35. Depending on who you get they take their own time. Some of them are fast. Some of them are slow. But they all do everything: exfoliate, lotion, clean cuticles, rub dead skin, hot towel, mini feet massage, polish.

I really like this place. They always use sanitized tools(I watch them open the pack). I have been here 4 times and really like the relaxed atmosphere. The pedicures are great and last for 3 – 4 weeks. I got a shellac manicure the last time and that was wonderful. The staff is super friendly, but don’t expect a ton of conversation they speak primarily Vietnamese. One other thing to note is that you need to bring cash for a tip.

I went here a few times when it first opened. I found a woman who did a decent job, but she was so slow(about an hour for a manicure). Most of the other girls were sloppy. On top of that, I found that they were reusing equipment without santizing it. That was my last visit. There is no reason to not sanitize equipment between customers. On the bright side, they processed my card incorrectly the last time I was in there, giving me a refund for the amount instead of charging me. I’ll consider it payback for trying to clip my cuticles with dirty tools.
