Island Joe’s Beach Cafe

My husband and I were vacationing and tried this cute little place on a whim and we are SO glad. The food was… indescribably good. I’m still thinking about it.
If you are in a rush, this may not be the place for you (but there is a McDonalds around the corner for you). If you want to enjoy a delicious quality breakfast/​brunch and relax, you’ve found it.
I had the Dulce de leche crêpe and the s’mores crêpe and both were to die for. I really wanted to try the farmers crêpe and the savory mushroom but because I was on vacation (and hellbent on getting the diabetes), I went with the sweet crepes. It all looked fantastic, though.
To sum it up, the atmosphere is great and the food even better. Can’t wait to go back next year.
PS make sure you try her homemade hot sauces.

Food was not bad at all. Very small little café with outside seating. You order at the counter pay and they bring it out to ya when it’s ready. Service was friendly. I got a bagel with cream cheese and a fruit cup (berries, grapes and bananas) my friend got a bacon egg and cheese on a croissant.
The menu had some good options. Definitely not a bad place to grab a quick breakfast bite before you hit the beach!

I had a strawberry, banana, & Nutella crêpe. It was delicious! I will definitely be back. The staff was also very nice.

This place just on the north side of Johns pass. Quaint little place but surprisingly big taste! I had a Cuban style sandwich which offered much better taste than I had imagined. Wow I almost ordered another and took it back to the condo for later.
If you want a great authentic and homemade sandwich using Boars Head meats it’s a must stop here in Madeira Beach FL.

Amazing ! So happy to find this spot this morning Great family place. Obsessed with my mocha coconut frappé they made for me. They weren’t here when I lived in Redington. I had been waiting for a coffee place to hit the beach for 18 years !! Can’t wait to go back.

This place is small so you have to be careful not to miss it… which would be a shame! The service was exceptional and the food was excellent. We ordered the lunch sandwiches as crepes and they were perfect. Huge portions. Especially if you are wanting to save room for the sweet crepes, which are worth it. It takes a little while to get your food but it is so fresh and well done it deserves all 5 stars. Really, really awesome place. Will definitely come back when in the area.

My 1^st Unilocal review because I felt so compelled to promote and recommend this place to others. Food was all fresh, colorful and delicious! Service was so nice, friendly and so hospitable (very nice people). Atmosphere is comfortable relaxed island feel. I can’t say enough about how much we enjoyed our breakfast here.
My wife and I are visiting the area to check out as many places as possible and this was so good we came back multiple days (clearly our favorite for breakfast).

Island feel, family friendly, great food! Freshly squeezed orange juice, AMAZING Crepes, sweet and savory! Flavorful and fresh omelettes! Good old fashioned lattes without all the flavored syrups! Well done!

The best way to start your morning when on vacation is morning sun a cool breeze and delicious lattes! We discovered this creperie near our condo and have been here almost every morning! The food is very fresh, the family running it are delightful and give us great service. The fresh squeezed oj is squeezed before your eyes! We highly recommend you stop in relax and enjoy! The only thing missing is a view of the gulf! But hey get it to go!

Our family ate here a total of four times while staying in Madeira Beach. We walked about a mile from our condo down the beach, and cut across the street right before John’s Pass.
We absolutely loved the service and the food. It is super fresh and homemade, nothing processed about it. The patio seating was lovely and perfect for kids. My three year old son played with the owners grandson outside while we ate and drank coffee.
They definitely go above and beyond to make sure you are a satisfied customer. I can’t recommend this café highly enough! Anything with the house dressing is fantastic! We will definitely be back anytime we are in the area.

Excellent café! My soy latte was great and my husband loved his iced latte. Beautiful patio seating (if you want to be in the heart of the hustle and bustle). If you like it quieter, you can enjoy your latte indoors. The owners are fabulous and made us feel very welcome!

Wonderful café. Both sweet and savory crepes were excellent — tasty but not overpowering, fresh ingredients. All four of our group loved their crepes.

Friendly staff, marvellous crepes, and great coffee. Will definitely come back when we’re back in the area.
