The only reason I gave one star is because you cannot give zero. The owner of this establishment is rude and arrogant. He mumbles under his breath criticizing you and your ability to fly certain kites. I will never shop there again. Would rather pay for shipping. The only reason he’s still in business is because it’s tourist not local people that are most of his customers. SHAME ON YOU!!!

Cool Wind chimes

As avid kite fliers (and kite ruiners) my bf and I decided to go in search of more stable options thinking that FL would be the place to search. Unfortunately it seems that the day when the kite business was booming has passed, but we did however stumble upon WindWorks in our search. Upon entering the store is clean and bright and truly offers all things wind oriented… and an abundance of our sought item lined the walls… animal kites… box kites… stunt kites… childrens kites… you name it.
I am one who just likes to sit and watch something cool in motion — I opted for an amazing 3D black and grey pirate ship fully equipped with 9 sails and a tail. Yea, I’m going to make young children jealous alright.
B opted for a stunt kite. Prior to buying our selected items the owner of 9 years, Joe came out and sparked a conversation with my partner in crime. His enthusiasm and knowledge was evident and he directed us to a better stunt kite… and low and behold it was less expensive then the one we had originally chosen! Not only that but he shipped them back to Brooklyn for us — they just arrived today. I can’t say enough about their customer service, we’ll definitely be customers for life! Thanks Joe!
