I just started working a few businesses over and was in desperate need of a hair cut. I noticed all these young guys going in and out with awesome cuts so I decided to give them a try. I have a barber in town who actually gave me my first haircut when I was a baby. Well the gentleman I got gave me probably the BEST haircut I’ve EVER gotten… I actually feel attractive… now THAT says something about his skills! I’ll definitely be going back.

Nice shop, big tv’s, friendly service. There is usually a wait but if you get there at the right time & you dont care who is cutting your hair you can usually get in the seat quickly. Price is reasonable as well.

To have been a man without a country for the last six months since my barber closed shop. So instead of driving into Fresno and being told I need to make an appointment I decided to check out a shop in Madera since this where I now work and live. Wish I had not done that. I couldn’t tell you what my barber’s name was because all he said to me was«what do you want?» and«how’s the back look?» Maybe my expectations where to high, but all the reviews I read said that this was the place in Madera to get your hair did. I guess if you don’t know the secret hand shake you are not going to be treated like a customer. All of this would not have mattered if I would have received a good haircut. I should have just gone to the Supercuts next to my mom’s house, at least there they wouldn’t have tried to bring my sideburns above my ears. I’m a man I’m 30, and all I want is a grownup haircut, is that too much to ask? And if you’re going to be using a straight razor then at least learn how to operate it! I have a nice red swollen and irritated line going across the back of my neck. I guess I’m going to keep looking for a real barbershop

My barber shop was closed so I had to find a new place. I saw the reviews and had to give this place a try. I think I found my new barber shop.

Best Barber Shop in town. Sad I moved to SoCal otherwise I’d come back every week to get that #freshasfuck haircut for the weekend. Eric by far, best barber in town. All clients are acknowledged and welcomed. Trendy shop and people just hang out even when their cuts done.

Back in town, hair a little gruff, so I turn to Cali Kutz. Eric the owner is great at his craft. His craft is great hair cuts. The great part about this shop is there are enough barbers. In most Madera barber shops there only 1 or 2 chairs. This place has a row of barbers, so it will cut down your wait time. There are also flat screens showing espn or sports games. I would definitely recommend to anyone in town to go to Cali Kutz for whatever style you’re looking for. Prices are a little more, but as they say, good hair cuts aint cheap and cheap hair cuts aint good.

I’ve been coming to this barber shop for a little over 3 years and have been pleased with the results every time. I usually have Eric or Edgar cut my hair but the rest of the barbers are on par with them. Very comfortable environment with big TV’s to watch sports and relax on some big sofas. They also have a decent sound system playing the latest«slappers» as they call it. Only cons I have is the wait is a little could take a while if you go on a Friday. Overall great place which is why I drove to the shop when I lived in Sacramento just for a cut. Check them out.

This place is the real deal. As far as a barbershop/lounge, considerate this the only one around. Laid back atmosphere, its a place to get away for awhile. Huge Tv’s, nice leather couches and maybe some jokes. Eric’s just missing the bar. These guys are straight artist in what they do. Taking there time on every single kut making sure to not miss a thing. They even take it back and shave you up with a straight razor. You don’t find that just anywhere. My advice go see the krew atthe Cali Kutz I Darrentee you won’t regret it.
