Love it! Even the vegetarian phở is so yummy! One of my fave places in town! Spring rolls are awesome, nice and fresh and the peanut sauce they give with it just makes it that much better:) my favorite boba drink is the tai tea over ice ! Great experience !

I’ll keep this short and sweet. This is my fiancée’s and I go to Phở place. Great service and the broth and noodles are great. I’m not a big fan of the meat, but hey that’s me. I love accompanying my meal with hot jasmine tea in those cute little tea cups. My fiancée loves their taro boba, I find the taro artificially tasting since it comes in powdered containers, but I guess most taro drinks come in that form. Anyways, love this place!

Place is ok. Nothing special about this place. Food is decent and the service is friendly. Price is ok as well. The Mongolian beef plate had to much sauce. The kung pao chicken plate had to much sauce and the teriyaki chicken bowls were ok. Visually the place looks ok. So just nothing special about this place. Would we come back here. Maybe, well they don’t really have any other competition here so…

Really good. My first time here. I loved the staff! They were so friendly and helpful when I asked the worst question ever.“what do you recommend?”. I ended up with the shrimp phở which was good although I didn’t care for the shrimp, they tasted a little too fishy. The broth, noodles, and bean sprouts were amazing though! Good place! I will definitely be going back, but I think I’ll try the chicken next time, which by the way was what was recommend to me(I know I’m that terrible person who asks for a recommendation and then chooses something different). Loved it!

So I did go back to this restaurant a few months ago. I was hoping my original review could be just a reflective of their boba and chow fun. When I went back I tried their phở and tired to order a sandwich to go. At the time they didn’t have sandwiches anymore and when I got my phở I realized the condiments on the table were very limited. The broth of the phở was just okay, nothing special. I will not be returning to this venue again. I did receive a «compliment» from another Unilocal viewer who said my first review was inaccurate. Clearly he doesn’t understand that that Unilocal is a place for people to review businesses based off of their person experience there. By the way I read his review of this place and he seems to have enjoyed it. That was not the case for me at all. Please read all the reviews and decide for yourself if this place is worth your money.

Absolutely love this place! I always get the sea food combo, and it’s delicious! It includes shrimp, scallop, crab(imitation) in rice noodles. Highly recommended it. Ps, their egg rolls and fried calamari are amazing!

We love to come out to Phodera to have authentic Vietnamese Phở. Delicious soup for our chilly winter days. Yummy!

I used to love this place! My husband would order shrimp or steak phở. I loved their spring rolls with the peanut sauce, until one day I got a long black hair inside the bite. I’m just glad it wasn’t short and curly! Lol I’m never going back I don’t like hair in my food thanku

Its great to have a place like this in Madera. Good food. Good prices. Clean restaurant. For my fiancé and I to eat was around 16 $, thats for two phở soups & a order of spring rolls. The food tastes & looks fresh. The peanut sauce is good, & if you like your soup spicy you can make it that way. I would recommend this place to anyone who likes good food. I will be returning often to eat. Thanks Phodera

Since I moved to Madera I have been driving by this place from work everyday and my co-worker who also lives here says it is the only Phở restaurant in town and that it is good. I finally got a day without any kids or wife so I decided to try it out. It was not busy at all, maybe because it was friday and it was homecoming day for Madera High School which is just down the street from them. I ordered what I knew best, the Phở Bo, it was really good! I was enjoying my large bowl and I added all the fixing to it. Of course I was only able to finish the meat and noodles but had to leave half of the broth, it was very fulfilling. I wish I had taken the rest of that broth in a to-go cup(which they will do). I was also pretty happy with the price, I could have done well with a little bit more meat then what they gave me but everything was just spot on. I wouldn’t say this was the best I have ever had, that title still belongs to the first place I’ve ever been to but I was a close second place. Visitors also have the option of coming in to order their Vietnamese Iced Teas to go; many people take advantage of their to-go menu. Personally I feel that this type of dish is one best enjoyed at the restaurant.

Delightful little strip mall Phở place. Great service and atmosphere. Good Phở. We were driving up 99 and used Unilocal to locate«good Asian restaurants» and found Phở’dera. It’s very easy freeway access. But we’d already taken the wrong exit so we drove around Madera a bit. We had two medium bowls of chicken phở and ended up with enough take-home for two more meals! Funky but pleasant décor. Very warm staff.

I usually eat here often, because phodera tastes better than the phở places in fresno. I almost always order the #10 rare steak and brisket phở. I like that they don’t use msg in the food. It is priced at $ 5.99 for a bowl of phở which I think its priced about right. The service is also good and consistent. I wish portion size was slightly bigger. But they do have a large bowl for more money. I am not really sure about the other dishes but the Phở is the best here. So definitely try the phở its the main specialty here.

Good Phở, pretty good service, and a good selection of other items. The service can sometimes be slow but considering this is really the only phở in Madera, definitely can’t complain. Great place to visit.
