This place gets 4 stars for easy access to 99 friendly staff and their 2nd amendment shirts. Restrooms were horrible, 1 star off for that, oh well. They were pretty busy. Fuel was cheap enough, though my needle was already on full

This Pilot gets an extra star because of the large array of hot food offered. They had hot meatloaf with mash and gravy, several pizzas, a Subway, a Denny’s, and a Cinnabon. The customer service was good but all the truckers were awesome. Started conversations with several people and they were all very cool and down to earth. Of course I wasn’t happy to realize my bathroom stall didn’t have any toilet paper and the soda machine didn’t have carbonation. But it was super busy and all of the staff were doing their jobs. It’s not like anyone was standing around doing nothing. All in all good rest stop.

When traveling for work we often stop here. This pilot has a subway a cinnabun a Denny’s and frozen yogurt. When visiting a place like this all you can ask for are clean restrooms and decent food choices and this location has both.

This place has the cheapest gas I’ve seen on the 99. I paid $ 2.97 just yesterday on 29 Oct 14!

Fuel prices are very reasonable, place is really busy though and you have to be quick to slip into an empty space on the fuel island before someone else cuts in front of you and swoops in that spot. Fuel pumps are hard to read, seems that vandals are constantly scratching graffiti into the displays. Panhandlers are there most everyday I buy fuel, with some sort of story about needing a few dollars for gas so they can get home. I did put a gallon of fuel in a can for a guy that said he was trying to get home, I felt he might have been legit, till he approached me three days later with the same story and gas can. I laughed, yeah buddy you got me good, but not again. I hate that the store went to self check out, some items don’t scan very well and sale items often show full price. Really! does this store not make enough money to pay people to be cashiers. I buy my fuel and soda’s across the street now, their fuel prices are high, but they are never busy, equipment isn’t vandalized, no panhandlers and they have a cashier,

I’ve been stopping here since the early 2000s because of the inexpensive gas, but on my last stop, the overflow shutoff safety valve failed. Since I was cleaning the windows on the far side of the car, I didn’t initially realize that the gushing sound was coming from the pump I was using and about 5 gallons of gas spewed onto the ground before I was able to manually stop the gas flow. While the clean-up person was fairly quick in arriving, my credit card was still overcharged approximately $ 20 for gas that this Pilot station’s faulty equipment wasted. Neither the clerk nor the night manager seemed to understand why I might be upset about being overcharged due to their equipment’s failure. Questions regarding company policy regarding reimbursement were met with shrugs. Saving $.05 to $.10 per gallon fuelling up at this station isn’t worth it, after factoring in the likelihood of another potential spill. I doubt I’ll stop here again.

Well just sold the record can reflect this is a truck stop. There are different kinds of people coming and going at all times. I don’t mind stopping here because the gas is very reasonably priced when you’re out driving in the Central Valley. Today I stopped because I had a flat tire. Not the most joyous occasion. However after two trips into the Mini Mart, 2 bottles of water, and a can I’ll sour cream and onion Pringles, I was finally able to get the service person to turn the air on. Beware of the people around you. Most people don’t know but there is a lot of drug activity and criminal activity that happens around the area based on its prime location close to the freeway. As long as you keep your eyes open it what you need and go promptly!

If this place doesn’t have what your looking for on your road trip, you must be looking for something pretty special! Great place to stop… Its right off the freeway, easy to get to. Its always clean and tidy! The even have a self check out! The gas is always lower than other place off the 99. However this is not a place for a quick stop!!! The lines are long for gas and people always seem to take forever to pump their gas and get out of the way for the next customer. I was waiting behind another customer to pump gas. I waited for 5 minutes and they were still in the store… I moved to another pump that was open and by the time I was done pumping my gas them fuckers we still in the store. Some people are just fucking assholes!!! This is a great place, but be prepared for a 20 to 30 minute stop!!!

Cheapest gas prices from the Pacific ocean coast to the mountains of Yosemite, in the central area of California. We always pit stop here to fill up the car, clean up ourselves, let the dog out and so forth, so on. Lots of variety on the cheap fast food circuit: Dairy Queen, Subway, Dennys, pizza… etcetera. We never expect too much, but were pleasantly surprised to find a DQ vanilla cone was FREE in exchange for a Pilot gas receipt over Memorial Day weekend. Yeah!

Everything is way over priced, but it’s a truck stop. Staff is friendly, bathrooms clean, and showers cleaned after each use. Nice and brightly lit lot and pleanty of fuel pumps, and parking

Good place to stop for gas, stretch your legs, and have some good food. This place has the usual variety of snacks and trucker food, also has a subway and dairy queen with a wendy’s right next door.

This was a convenient stop on my way from Bakersfield to San Francisco. It was located just off the 99 with easy access to and from the freeway. I stopped here mainly for the use of their bathroom, which was immaculately clean and well stocked. There was also an old fashioned scale that gave you your weight and told you your fortune. I haven’t seen one of those in AGES and it made me smile remembering that they were a frequent sight in my childhood, though not so much these days. The mini-mart portion was also immaculate, well-lit, and cheery. They had quite a variety of cold drinks, candy, and snacks. They also had a Subway Sandwich shop inside which was open 24 hours a day. While I was there, someone walked up to the Subway counter and one of the cashiers immediately headed over there to wash his hands and make their sandwiches. No waiting, even at that late hour! The drinks and snacks were not horribly overpriced. I’m used to gas stations in the middle of nowhere jacking up all their prices, but this one was not unreasonable. I bought beef jerky and energy drinks(my traveling staples) and didn’t break the bank. The gas was pretty fairly priced, also. Bonus: while I was waiting in line at the register I discovered that there was paid wi-fi available, but that I was also getting a free wi-fi signal from somewhere. Usually in these situations it’s better not to ask questions, LOL. Anyway, the stop was quick, painless, even pleasant, with smiling and friendly cashiers and customers alike! I don’t usually travel up the 99, but if I do again I will certainly put this on my list of pit stops!

Always a good stopping point. I love these truck stops. They are always available for a bathroom stop only. However it is tough to only walk through one of these places and use the restroom with out at least perusing the many knick knacks and what nots that they have piled in their store. They have every snack ever thought of, they have every soft drink ever thought of, and they have showers for professional truckers only. Oh and they also have gas. All in all I recommend this place for anyone looking to relieve themselves or fill up their car with a plethora of stuff.

Wow, I was speechless when I walked into Pilot Travel Center… I had to go to the bathroom, then I saw a Subway, a Dairy Queen, aisles of Chips, Candy, a UFO catcher(that’s what they were called in Japan back in the day, grabby coin game used to pick up prizes), they even have a facility where you can take showers… I guess for truckers or people traveling for a long time or if you are just feeling dirty… I’ve been there… Pretty nice folks up in here… I recommend the Pilot Slushie/Icee stuff over the DQ and since DG’s hot dogs(cooking machine) was out(they asked if I wanted it microwaved and I walked away), then Pilot’s CornDogs(c/o Fosters Farms) are your best bet… but definately use the microwave beneath the sausage counter… because they weren’t warm at all.
