If you haven’t checked out this gem, I’d highly recommend it! Sumner Peck Ranch is the perfect little getaway from the hustle bustle of life. The ambiance is stunning and the products they sell are top notch! Every time I walk in I feel like I’ve been transported to the secret garden ha. The store is well stocked with fresh produce, artisan nuts, dried fruit, and locally made wine. It’s become a ritual to stop by on my way back from Lake Millerton to enjoy some goodies and bask in their lovely garden. Summer Peck Ranch is the kind of place that makes you want to slow down and appreciate the little joys of life.

I loved that you could sample before buying. Me and my boyfriend found a lot of great items. Will drop by again. AMAZING honey. Employee was super friendly and brought us a sample of some mandarins — bought some.

Loved this place! Visited it during the fall Madera Wine Trail. All of my guests were blown away. Great wine, cute little shop and AMAZING atmosphere. The staff was wonderful, just a great experience. Thank you and can’t wait to visit again!

Be careful with their samples. You will get a good helping of sarcastic remark from an old lady(probably owner) if you take one or two extra samples. Will not recommend this store to anyone.

One of the best wineries I have ever been to. The family who owns the winery were there and they are some of the nicest people and their wine is fantastic! Try the Chardonnay and Muscat!!! We will definitely come back soon

This place is beautiful. It is one of the nicer wineries in Madera. My friends and I decided to spend the day wine tasting and this was the last winery on our tour. We drove out 20 minutes because it is out of the way of the others. We arrived at 5:35 and were told that we could no longer wine taste because they closed at 6. The winery we had visited before them accommodated people even after they had closed. This winery however turned us away even though it was not even 6 o’clock yet. The lady at the register actually got up and left at around 5:40. I had to ask the other worker to ask her to return because I had not even started shopping. She did not seem happy to return. I did not appreciate the attitude or the lack of help she«offered». We drove out for 20 min just to be treated poorly. I had high hopes for this place, but unfortunately I was let down. I would love to give this place more stars, but maybe they need to hire better workers.

I was asked by a family member to shop for blueberries while on a return trip from Yosemite. Now I guess like most the thinking goes that fruit stands should be cheaper than the local supermarket but that is not always the case. There was a deal where if you purchased 3 baskets it ran $ 2/basket. Well I happened to stop at the costco in Fresno and they had a single basket 9x one of the fruit stand baskets at $ 7.00. Admittedly there are some specialty items at this fruit stand that you will not find at the local supermarket but produce savings are debatable.

I stopped here the other day with my van full of kids on our way back from Oakhurst. They were tired and grumpy, and needed to get out and stretch! We walked into the nice sunny fruit stand, and had a wonderful time wandering around checking out the offerings. The staff was friendly with out hovering, and everything was laid out nicely. I ended up picking up a great package of honey still in the comb. It was a tasty treat, and a great visual lesson about how bee’s make and store honey!
