The restaurant is nothing fancy and gives you that feeling like you are at your grandparents house having breakfast, lunch or dinner, but in a good way. The owner of this restaurant is very hospitable as are the rest of the people that work there. They make every thing fresh so it takes a while to get your food but trust me, it is worth it. My husband got the breakfast burrito and I got the chilaquiles which were amazing! When I was in there, many people were coming in with pots and getting the menudo so I decided to get a small bowl to go, it was amazing, hands down the best menudo in town. And the soft fresh corn tortillas were to die for, this is a great spot for friendly service and authentic food!

I stopped by the shop next door like normal but it was closed, so I just walked about 15 steps north and figured that I would try this place that had just opened. Boy was I pleasantly surprised. They told me it was the best in town, I told them I will be the judge of that lol. Well my first trip I got the carnitas torta and man it was good. We’ll a few months go buy and my wife wanted some good chille Verde so I took her here to try, I got the chicken enchiladas, and our daughter got the torta I talked so much about. OK the chille Verde was fresh and full of flavor, the meat does have bones so beware, but you have to try for your self, the corn tortillas were home made as you order and they don’t disappoint. My chicken enchiladas was * sorry honey * but it was one of the best I have had, the beans and rice were also very good. It was all so fresh. They are located in a bad side of town so take care at night, but during the day it’s quite safe.

Amazing service from owner — worth the visit! Excellent home made corn tortillas and enchiladas with amazing flavor — no salsa needed! Someone in our group ordered a taco salad which wasn’t on the menu but they made him one anyway and it was wonderful! The food was all made with fresh veggies and fresh cut avocado which is a welcome addition instead of guacamole. The place is definitely off the path and is in a residential area but well worth the drive to find it. We are not from the area but our guys so a lot if work out here so they will definitely be back for lunch again
